A lot of guys have wanted him. he certainly fits the mold of a big they like, stretching the floor.

Anyway we can find to add talent is a good idea, since we cant rely on the draft or free agency.

I assume bennett is the odd man out? i cant see mccullough being cut. Scolas role has diminished but they seem to love him as a leader/mentor.

They wouldn't sign him if they thought he was still a long ways away. You don't have to criticize the nets because you're upset they're being cautious with Lin. Come on now.

I haven't been on the DMo bandwagon since I'm hesitant to sign a guy with back issues. But i do like the fit, and if healthy he can be a huge addition.

He is obviously very skilled offensively but I like his defense too. I f he buys in and plays hard, he will contribute bigly

Yeeessss. I've been saying over and over how much I wanted Dmo here, even before these rumors.

Lin played with Dmo before. They should have chemistry.

Oh yeah, he's a RFA, so the Rockets could still match unless we overpay him by a lot. Super curious what the Nets might offer dmo

Would be a nice backup C/PF. Everyone plays 28 minutes a game so he'll get plenty of time. Huge upgrade over Scola, Hamilton, Bennett.

nice, I am a DMo fan... as long as he gets an offer sheet, I am happy... I want to see him play

I hope he's healthy & I hope he can produce, but I'm not holding my breath any more than I did for Scola.

PS: It's interesting, that w/ DMo & Scola, there are now 2 former teammates of Lin on the team. Maybe an indication of Marks looking to build on player relationships, or maybe it's just a coincidence

D-Mo is 26. Scola is like 38 lol

Scola was not Lin's teammate... I don't think signing DMO has a lot to do with Lin...
Bear in mind, the Rockets still has a good chance to match, depending on the offer DMO got...

This begs the question - why didn't the Nets offer a contract to Dmo back in July? I guess they were afraid of the Rockets matching back then, but it seems now Dmo has let it become completely clear that he is done with playing for the Rockets.

I am all for messing with Morey. LOL
