not gonna lie, i think we should start using a different name for opponents soon.... it should be more like 114.4 PTS plus vs the Nets....

Brooklyn Nets vs 30 point 3rd quarter

The Nets are clearly the worst team in the 3rd quarter. They are losing it by 7.4 points on average.

It would be great to win but I don't expect it.

Our defense is getting worse by the day. The Nuggets have 10 legit NBA rotational players. Gonna be tough to stop them unless we shore up at least ONE of the weaknesses on that end of the floor. Our defense is so bad that even on off shooting nights, were giving up 115 with ease.

A close game against a talented team like the Nuggets would be a nice surprise. A win would mean that LeVert is really our Savior like Prok has been preaching

whats the spread on this one?

I can't speak for Prok but I would bet my last Dollar Bill (him too) that he would not expect a rookie with zero NBA game experience to save the Nets in his first appearance.

If LeVert comes in and torches the Nuggets I'd be on my knees with tears in my eyes, for the basketball savior has finally come to to lift the Nets out of the darkness.

In reality, we can just hope that he shows some flashes of being a good pro.

If LeVert knocks down open 3s consider me sold....

We can do that, or even pick if our opponent will cover or not for fun since we'll be the underdog in pretty much every game this season.

Who else would be down? Just for fun of course. it will help lighten the mood as well as the losses mount.

Edit: We can also make predictions on 3rd qtr scoring as well. Let's have some fun on here we suck but i still enjoy watching the team play and talking about them

I think Brook and Sean will give us a good performance but I highly doubt we get anything elsewhere. Faried vs Booker should be fun. Same with Mudiay vs Whitehead.

Not expecting anything less than another 3rd quarter meltdown though.

Never say never, if we can beat the clippers at home, we can beat the Nuggets at home with some home cooking calls. They are more talented than the Nets but still just another under 500 teams and playing away. Whose to say LeVert will not drop 30 on them in the third quarter alone and turns into the next Tracy Mcgrady?
