Wish we had Lin, seems to go unconscious mode whenever he went up against the Spurs.

Oh, the spurs are doing a back to back, so they might possible rest some players, knowing Pop.

Didn't they have the best home record last season?
Very very little chance.
They are missing a PG tho.
IMO it's a mistake by Pop to not pursue a high caliber PG this offseason.

Na Spurs are not playing today or Sunday so they should be well rested. Still hoping Pop rest some players

Spurs by 230.
Beyond being more talented, better coached, and executing better they also added gasol who always abuses lopez.

Parker's been banged up and it's more than Pop who decides on who to pursue. Spurs are very good, but their core got old, the great TD has retired, Manu is on the way out, Parker is past his prime, and Leonard is one of the best in the game and leading the transition. But they need another piece, and go younger at PG next season. They'll get one.

Just hoping we're competitive. Will be interesting to see LeVert play more and maybe SD.

Well, KL on SK is likely and will be a huge test for Skil. Booker has to contend with LMA. Lopez with Gasol. Tough, tough matchups. What will RHJ bring? LaVert in his second game against this level of competition should be interesting. SD may or may not play. AB as well, though he may get some burn. This is a game where Bogs may try to do too much and it's a chance for Hamilton to get his shot back. Harris could be a factor, or at least at times make buckets that don't totally have us out of the game.

Btw, SD will be the first Net to wear #8 since the Deron Williams.
Can someone bathe that jersey in holy water before he wears it tonight?

Eh......OK......Pop and RC then, even tho Pops says otherwise, I'm pretty sure he makes the decisions on this kinda thing
Perhaps they are looking to sign CP3 in 2017?
Or maybe they did go after Lin, but all he wanted was the Nets
Actually I think they did want Conley but he wasn't leaving that biggest contract ever

They wanted Conley, he was the best two-way PG in the running. Rondo is solid in that respect too but with his attitude he's a PIA. But now they could look toward other players, Conley and Lin are locked up and they would have to trade for them and pay really huge for Conley.

Impossible to pay Conley the max and sign a good center.
Rondo is definitely a bad fit, their offense doesn't go thru the PG that much and he's challenged in scoring.
I doubt they would make a big trade for a high caliber PG.

This Texas two step will be a good test for Isaiah. Parker and Harden.
We'll definitely see how well he can handle their different styles. I don't expect him to lock anyone down but he's done well against Lillard, Paul, Teague so far.

During his podcast,
The Vertical Podcast,
"Woj" mentionedLos Angeles Clippers' Chris Paul, who will be free agents at years end. During his show, he speculates the San Antonio Spurs might chase the All-Star point guard in next summer's free agency period.
"There's going to be teams like the Knicks, I think the Spurs and it's very interesting. The Spurs now are involved, whenever there is a big free agent now, they're in the mix. They put themselves really since getting LaMarcus Aldridge, whether it was even Kevin Durant last year taking a meeting, he looked at them."
"But I think San Antonio would be in the conversation there with Chris Paul there at the table in the event he starts looking."

The ghost of Parker that's slowed by injuries shouldn't be too much of a problem
Harden would be interesting. iHead is about as tall as he is and probably as strong. It's a good matchup physically. Probably the biggest concern is Harden drawing fouls. Should be a good lesson.

No kidding, superteam. If the Clips don't get past 2nd round this season, he might ring chase. He could prolong his career not having to do everything and can be more rested.
Question is how do they work the salaries?
