Booker is out? Rest?

He played 24 minutes last night and took 5 shots. I do NOT understand the resting strategy that's going on with this team. First Lopez rests BEFORE a b2b and now this?

He's not going to get much play time tonight anyway so instead of flying him to Cleveland they sent him home early to be with his family for an extended Christmas break.

We play at the fastest pace in the league. He's trying not to burn these guys out. Booker's an energy big.

Every team rests players now. Cavs rested Love, Lebron, and Irving at the same time the other day (i wish they would rest them tonight). Booker needs a mental reset imo, he's been playing very low iq ball the last few games and his production is declining.

we're going to get the hell beaten out of us anyway.

Lopez's play for the most part last night showed that the rest helped him.

I'm guessing Bennet will start for Booker. JHam needs to back up Brook. RHJ might be a good backup there also. Whoever it is has to get out on Love or he will kill us with the 3. I think Lin will do a good job on Kyrie but of course there is no answer for LeBron.

We need to rest him every so often during the season so he'll be fresh throughout the playoffs. Even if he didn't participate in Rio, his body is still worn down from prolonged seasons in those previous years...

Looking forward to seeing more minutes from Bennett. Say what you want about AB's inability to finish inside at times, but he's got size, the tools, and seems to try to make the right basketball plays. Booker is not someone who would help the Nets pull off an upset.

Well... all my brothers and sisters are home for Christmas tonight. I won't have TV to watch the Nets game. I don't want to deal with crappy streaming online while the Nets getting beat up by the cavs, so.. it will be only scoreboard watching tonight game.
