If Beal is out we can steal this one. I'm going to be watching Otto Porter closely, maybe a future Net.

I think this is a great chance to bounce back after the Bulls. We finally have some energy in our legs, the young guys' confidence is growing. I am happy to see that during the Bulls game he gave Spencer, LeVert some legit time out there, and we're going to need it with Lin out.

I think we can come in with a focus on moving the ball side to side. I hope Harris is back, as his shooting is always important. We're starting to see some ideas of Kenny really come together on the floor, and it starts with hitting the open shots we're given.

Love what we're seeing out of iHead, he's had to go up against some prime PG's during Lin's absence and it's huge for his development. Today will be no different, Wall is playing a lot better of late, and it will be a great chance to have iHead guard him for large stretches.

Overall this is a winnable game, but more importantly it's a chance to start putting together a flow. We've been in a lot of tough fought games and it's time to start closing them out.

We need to bounce back tonight. We played a hell of a game versus Chicago, lets keep this energy going. Give me more LeVert and plenty of touches for Lopez tonight.

This will be a great experience for iHead. Give him plenty of minutes.

The team just needs to keep their heads up and keep playing hard. They may not have a great record, but our opponents have to always bring their A games against us and that's a good sign.

this game is winnable. need some kind of resistance from out bigs...

they suck if you make them play half court. we didnt do that last time. we turned it over and gave them tons of free points. if we dont turn it over more then 8-10 times i think we win

Lets hope RHJ is well. If he could have started and played more against the Bulls, would Butler have scored so much?

Bogs played so well off the bench anyways.

We need RHJ to defend their wing scorers.

iHead should defend Wall well.

They are soft in the middle and have a very bad bench.

Play good D on their starters and we have a chance.

Good opportunity for our bench to gain some confidence, young guys and JHam.

We're dead last in the league in turnovers per game. Don't hold your breath.

And it isnt even the kids that are the main culprits. Lin, Lopez, Skill, Booker and Bogs are giving up 11 turnovers a game. Thats completely unacceptable.

Just looking at turnovers as a stat by itself is misleading. For instance Harden and Westbrook lead the league in turnovers at around 5.5 a game and John Wall is averaging 4.4. They also all average around 10 assists a game. High turnovers can show a player is aggressive and if their assist to turnover ratio is 2 to 1 or better then they are doing more good than harm.
That being said the team definitely needs to cut down their turnovers. A lot of passes are telegraphed which the coaching staff should be able to work with the players to correct. The pace of play also contributes to turnovers - the faster you play the more turnovers you will have. Another thing is when someone gets a rebound they should look to get the ball to the PG not try to take it coast to coast.

Harden scores 29 a game on all-time great level efficiency

Westbrook leads the league in scoring.

its a really bad comparison to say turnovers are ok because those guys turn it over alot. and its just raw turnovers, those guys both play insane minutes with top 5 usage rates.

no one on this team scores 30 a game and we cant afford to turn it over since we have no great offensive players to make up for it.

Exactly. You just made my point. If you read my post more carefully I'm not saying turnovers are ok at all. I'm saying just looking at turnovers by themselves without regard to what else a player does is misleading.
