This article pisses me off... I STILL cant believe that howard was so dumb that he begged and tried to force a trade, then when he had the change to opt and come here he opted in.

That trade would have altered the nets future so much. Lopez would be gone, and Dwight/Dwill would have been slightly better but more importantly they would have prevented the boston trade from happening and been a bigger draw for other stars.

This team could have had harden and dwight with any kind of luck and good management instead of billy king.

but i know better, this franchise is cursed with awful luck.

I hate looking back at this whole saga. You're right, if things happened differently, our future would have been drastically altered. BK set us back big... and we'll still be climbing out of that whole for a couple more years. At least there seems to be light at the end of the tunnel now though.

As much "star power" as these guys have, none of them have proven to be huge winners. Maybe I'm "becoming" a homer or believer, but I'd rather live and die with our current management and group. I find it so much easier to pull for players and teams and a culture that I like.

How has harden proven not to be a winner? his teams have consistently done damage and gotten deep in the finals. and we saw the Harden/Dwight combo make the WCF. that certainly is alot better then losing at home to a bulls team with tons of injuries.

even if all that happened is we ended up with just harden now we would be 100 times better off. Harden and 4 high schoolers is still better then what we have now. dude is the MVP of the league this year

Instead DHo doesnt want to PnR and wanted to be a post player like Hakeem and Nash gets career ending injury like 5 games into the season. Thus the season went to immediate ****.

**** broken down Kobe then rides DHo like he was some scrub (similar to how CP3 treats DJ i'd imagine) and basically ran him out of town. DHo wanted us to amnesty the crippled injured Kobe (burst Achilles tendon) or he walks, we refused and thus we began our glorious run in stealth tanking.

Alot of Laker fans are butthurt and angry at DHo. When in reality our FO screwed up their moves so bad (Nash trade, didnt trade DHo or Pau before they were FAs) and handled the Kobe situation in an utterly inept manner (hey here's a 2 year 50 mil extension before u prove to be healhty!). BUT if the objective was tanking while selling tickets to the Kobe "Circus Chucking Freakshow" Bryant, then we did an amazing job

I always did wonder if DHo woulda stayed if we had amnestied the useless post injury Kobe. Doubtful, he always did strike me as a duplicitous bitch, but anyone with a brain would hardly blame him for not wanting to get out of there.

I bet if you asked him how many Muslims are attacked vs. Christians, he wouldn't know.

In his circles (who primarily care about what happens to Christians), the Christian experience is prioritized over that of others.

What's weird is that if you go to a place like Egypt, you'll see Coptic Christians and Muslims working in concert to protect each other from outside forced and persecution. That would never happen in America. The US has a pseudo-Christian social structure that assumes its setup as normative and the only proper way to maintain religion in society.

He was probably saying that being Christian doesn't automatically put you in the position of the oppressor. And I think they are right for getting upset about it because it gets people to pay more attention to the issue.

It's like... a white woman feels oppression when white men (typically where white women refuse to marry or date outside their race) treat them like sh*t and turn around and put down minority women because of their own oppression instead of empathizing with each other. Many Caucasian females are not like this at all but it remains an issue in regards to American feminism.

You can say that Christians are being targeted in the Middle East sure. I mean everyone is being targeted in places like Syria. It's a war zone.
