His movement off of the screen is so good and his hands have become steady now. He nearly killed Biyombo on that dunk.

lol @ the teams who let this kid drop. Marks is a solid 2/2 in drafts.

LeFro duo is fantastic to watch. Have no issues with them coming off the bench together and giving us a spark this season.

I expect them both to be part of our starting lineup next season.

Imagine being Sean Marks. Drafting LeVert, trading Thaddeus to get it going. Then follow up the next year and draft Jarrett Allen.
The combination of both average ages of 21yrs old.

Then you see them complete this type of play wit less than a season of practice together.

Agreed however he still needs a ton of improvements

I think his next step in improving is being a lot more active on defense

He needs to also play bigger when he has the ball in his hands

He needs to be more physical fighting over positions

He needs to have the mentality going after the ball

He needs strength training

This should be his list of goals for the next 2 years.

The Afro has finally made his Dawkins highlights debut.

Needs to finish his dunks. Blown a few at point blank range the past few games. He's looking more and more comfortable though overall. Seems like his minutes are going to steadily continue increasing.

Remember when we wondered if Jarrett would see any playing time outside of G League this year? Lol

they need to work on his explosiveness a bit. for a guy his size and with his athletic ability he needs to get a bit more above the rim. with his length if he added to his vert it would go a long way. he could be tyson chandler esque on lobs

There's no rush, think that will come with a full season and offseason of building an NBA body. Hopefully we'll see this next season. Let him get some game time experience and let the coaches work from there.

He is the best Center on the roster.

Obviously needs to get stronger in the off-season but he's showing great stuff consistently as a 19 year old. Eventually his body will mature and with the "Atkinson diet" on the menu the sky is the limit for the young fella.

Yeah...he was drafted in the later half of June and took a good chunk of the summer traveling and getting settled in Brooklyn. Training camp isn't enough time for him to really improve physically.

There's a silver lining for the season ending in April for Allen. He can take a full month off to vacation and still have 3 full months of working on his physique before the start of training camp.

Not for nothing, but it's scary what this kid can become. Kid. He's 19. He has the smarts, the athleticism, the length, the instincts.

If he only improves in the sense of adding 10 pounds, putting on some man strength and maturing mentally, the dude is pretty much the new Tyson Chandler.

Tyson Chandler when in healthy seasons was a top 50 player, maybe top 20 in certain years. He played within himself, was a pick and roll monster, played excellent D, passed it well, hit his frows and occasionally buried a short J when wide open an asked. He was crazy smart and did what he was supposed to. An anchor on D and even with his limited shooting skills never adversely effected spacing, even when not surrounded with shooters. 10/10/2/2/1 kind of guy in sub-30mpg.

That would be beast.

This is no Stromile Swift. That was a guy you couldn't trust with a lunch order.

Allen is smart. Basketball and real life.

And he's 19.

19.

It isn't a given he ever improves in leaps and bounds, but again, if he just stays reasonably healthy and gains some man strength and typical experience NBA smarts, Tyson Chandler in the flesh.

What a F'ing steal!

yup... the only thing chandler did, that im not sure allen can do..... is bring that nasty intensity chandler had... some guys have that some dont. and while i love that about chandler you can still be very good without it.

although allen has styled on some dunks and given guys the business recently so maybe he has some of that in him too

And Chandler wasn't like that from the door. He was a quiet little skinny kid when he came into the L as well. It took him some years and a second team to really come out of his shell.

Him and Jonas, holy hell I can't believe he's 19.

I feel like there's an expectation from everyone in the team in where he's going to be during a PnR. You see it in that clip whenever RHJ, Levert or Crabbe drove. He's just at the right spots.
