You guys got two great picks. I've been watching Vezenkov for a couple years now. He has great potential. Also, Allen is a great player to add to the front court. Well done!

I would love to get PJ Tucker on a short term contract similar to how we did Booker and Lin last season. Would be a good vet to have around plus a good player at the 3-4. Could be a cheaper/smarter option than maxing out Otto Porter.

Any word on McDaniels? Isn't today when Nets confirm?

From ND
June 24 - Nets must inform K.J. McDaniels whether they will exercise his team option for 2017-18. If so, his $3,476,873 contract goes into effect on July 1.

I agree, for me it's either Tucker or Ingles. Both can be productive vets who play good defense and provide the upgrade at the 3 Marks mentioned. If we can't get one of them, I still wouldn't mind absorbing DeMarre Carroll as long as the Raptors throw in a little incentive. No need to help them out for free and sacrifice cap space in 2018-2019 just because Kenny is familiar with him.

Other than that, I have exacly zero wishes right now and I'm all for rolling with the young guys. We don't have open roster spots anyway.

I like this guy. He also has an incredible journey/story.

June 29 - Nets must inform K.J. McDaniels whether they will exercise his team option for 2017-18. If so, his $3,476,873 contract goes into effect on July 1.

Then, on June 30 - Joe Harris and Sean Kilpatrick’s $1,051,245 guarantees for 2017-18 kick in. Team option on both.

Don't know if this was already posted, but Sean marks did a radio interview on the Michael Kay show on Friday, discussing the draft. A great exchange near the end where Kay asks marks about benching his starters for the final game. Marks basically says FO, none of your business, and that the regular season is just as important as summer league and offseason development for our guys... I loved that last part.

I'm all for Tucker, been calling for him to be signed for awhile. He competes, doesn't take any mess. My kind of player.

I heard this on the drive home, it was a great interview and Michael Kay was heaping tons of praise onto Marks and the Nets for the new approach.

I liked his answer to the question. I don't know why we're getting hell for resting guys in a meaningless game, if Miami wanted to make the playoffs so bad they should have won more games on their own time. The idea that the Nets owed it to anyone to deviate from their plan when numerous teams were resting guys is ludicrous.

The Warriors, Cavs, and Spurs burned fans repeatedly all year with some of their stunts. Literally ruined nationally televised games. Yet, everyone wants to bitch about the Nets...

We need to retain him. I liked what I saw from him. His biggest flaw imo is that he does some really dumb stuff some times on offense.

I'm all for retaining McDaniels because he provides something different from the other wings. One of Harris / Kilpatrick / Acy has to go though. They've all exceeded expectations but the Nets need some space for big man prospects!

Wouldn't be surprised if we don't pick up McDaniels option. I think its between him and Goodwin for the same spot, Goodwin has the advantage of being slightly younger and being more talented. I'm not sure if either of them have a future in the NBA.

Because some of these beat writers are pathetic homers. More than likely paid in sponge baths by 'Pat' Riley.

50/50 in retaining him imo. If the FO is targeting a wing then he'll be a expendable.
