When you have an owner with pockets as deep as Prok, you really shouldn't care too much about money. I'm happy that the nets are using their money to buy young players/assets to replace their draft picks. Its better than using them on washed up vets and redo what got us in this mess to begin with.

The problem is the only way we'll get respectable is if we gamble and overpay on talent like this. It's the only realistic way to get free agent talent. Look at the rockets - they overpaid for Ryan Anderson and the like and their respectability allowed them to make a play for a Chris Paul. No star will join us in free agency unless we pull ourself up from the basement.
