At the moment, I'm gonna predict that the Nets win 32 games.

Last year, they won 20 games. But, they were like 2 different teams. Before and after the all-star break. They started adding more athletic players to replace the older slower guys on the bench. But,the biggest difference was that their starting line-up finally stabilized with Lin, Foye, LeVert, RHJ and Lopez.

Lin came back from his injuries and finally gave them a competent pg.

LeVert was finally inserted into the starting line-up after missing the first third of the season then playing restricted minutes off the bench.

RHJ was moved from small forward to power forward where he seemed to fit better.

That starting line up ended up playing 22 games with a positive netrtg. of 3.8 and the team went 11-13 to end the season after coming off a 4-46 run in the previous 50 games.

That 11-13 streak to end the season would have given them around 36 wins if they maintained that pace, but I think they were closer to a 27 win team to end the season. Although the Nets lost Lopez their best player this year and was replaced with a lesser player in Mozgov, their overall talent level improved with the additions of DLo, Crabbe and Carrol while the East became weaker.

With BroLo gone, we'll be able to play very fast, possibly swarming D if Kenny can get the new young wings to hustle their asses off

8-2 if the team gels well in training camp and gets off to a running start with their offense. I see 6-4 as very possible as well with all things being average for everyone.

That's a weak ass list of teams and CLE might just play down to BRKs level due to sheer arrogance and maybe player chemistry turmoil over the drama thats going on over there, not to mention teams who live by the 3 can sometimes win games they have no business winning due to lucky bombing.

9/10 are highly winnable games. DEN is the only other game that the team is "outmatched" against.

If the team doesnt start off better than 5-5 then theyre in trouble. This is likely the easiest stretch all season.

Year 2 of the Motion offense will likely mean it'll run smoother than last year.

I don't know what to expect.

I would expect the ytean to take time to gel but apart from Jarrett they added pretty seasoned players --- even DLo has signifcant experience. I think the guards will be pretty good out the gate ... our front court is the bigger question for me

38 wins, or an 18 game improvement, "miracle"... nah.
Nets in 2001 improved 26 games from not making the playoffs to 52 wins with not much more around Jason Kidd (and a now-we-know suspect coach in Byron Scott) with Kerry Kittles, rookie Richard Jefferson, Lucious Harris, Kenyon Martin and center Todd MacCulloch.

Suns improvement: 2003-2004: 29-53 2004-2005: 62-20
Spurs improvement: 1988-1989: 21-61 1989-1990: 56-26
1996-1997: 20-62 1997-1998: 56-26
Celtics improvement: 2006-2007: 24-58 2007-2008: 66-16
No one saw it coming with those teams.

My prediction is very

pieces added and
a healthy Lin, but in this
crowd buying into CW too its
something to mock as inconceivable.

turn arounds can come out of nowhere. In 2015 the Hornets had an offseason that was widely graded a C. The had a semi rebuild where they got rid of Lance Stephenson and added Batum, Lin, Lamb, Kaminsky (rookie), and Spencer Hawes. Even though they lost Kidd Gilchrist to season ending injury in preseason, that team went from 33 wins to 48 wins.

It might seem crazy to expect the Nets to jump to 37 wins after winning 20 last year but when you've seen turnaround like these, you start believing in players ability to come together to surprise
