I'm hoping DRussell gives Dennis Schroeder the business today, then walks to the visiting lockeroom after the game with clippers, and shaves an X through his stupid ass haircut.
Yelllin Brooklyn......

Like the pacers game this one will be tough:
-well coached team
-shooters up and down the lineup
-will play 100% for 4 quarters
and while everyone is predicting atlanta as a bottom 3 team, they are not any less talented them we are. Scroeder, prince, collins are comporable to any young talent we have. and they have a bunch of bigs who can shoot from deep. they know our system inside and out because they run versions of it themselves.
hopefully being at home with an early start gives us the edge!

I think Schröder will get in the paint, so help defense on him will be important. If the defensive schemes are good on Schröder, then that'll take away some of the dribble-drive kick outs he's capable of.

Did any of you guys see that piece (think it was HoopsHype) that suggested we go after Schroeder in a trade, just bc Lin got injured? Total knee jerk reaction and complete opposite of what the Markinson vision is. Obviously done by a writer who had no clue what the Nets are trying to do.
I’d still keep an eye open for a trade during the season though. It just has to be the right move, not just making a move for the sale of making one.

I am curious how long it will take for more of NY fan base to migrate to BKN
Russell's star power is clearly working

When Sean Marks hits NY with a RFA offer sheet.

Kristaps Porzingis will be eligible for a designated rookie scale maximum extension from the New York Knicks in less than nine months.
Porzingis was asked whether he would need to see changes from the Knicks before committing long-term.
"Yeah," replied Porzingis.
Porzingis then paused and smiled, realizing his position shouldn't be discussed publicly.
“Yeah. That’s it.”
If Porzingis declines an extension offer in 2018, he would become a restricted free agent in 2019 and potentially an unrestricted free agent in 2020.

Interested to see how Russell defends DS. He hasn't looked good at all defending the PNR or defending any off ball action. Dennis isn't one of the superhuman PGs in the league.

Caris continuing to work on that 3 ball. LeVert starts over Crabbe today.

Winnable game for both squads. Hopefully we can come out with the W today.
Dlo-Crabbe-DMC-RHJ-Booker
Dinwiddie-CL-Harris-Acy-Allen
This should be the rotation today IMO.
