Well, if there ever was a time for Caris LeVert to wake the hell up, tonight would be the night. We need him to snap out of it. like right now. We need March and April 2017 Caris Levert and not this guy who has played struggle ball for the last 13 games

And is Allen going to play? I'd prefer not to let Kyrie Irving drop 40 on us off of lay ups.

actually disregard. Al Horford probably goes for 50 points tonight.

I was just about to post this. Tonight would be the best opportunity to breakout. His last good game came against CLE.

“I feel like I put in the work this summer so there’s no reason to be frustrated,” said LeVert after Monday’s practice in Brooklyn. “Everybody goes through something like that at some point. My teammates and my coaches told me to stay positive. I just trust the work I’ve done all summer.”

“My mindset hasn’t changed,” he continued. “The type of shots that I’m taking hasn’t changed. I just feel like at some point they’re going to start falling. I have confidence.”

Btw, the AFRO has spoken! He’s back!

You need rim protection. That was my job when I was playing,” said Allen. “Just for me to come back, hopefully it’s going to be an improvement.”

“It feels fine, just to get back to the groove of this,” Allen said after his first practice in about two weeks. “It was frustrating (to get hurt) but personally, I see myself as a level-headed guy. I know I’m going to have, hopefully, a long career, so missing just a couple of games isn’t going to hurt me.”

Hey Brooklyn neighbours.

Just a quick one - does anybody know if Barclays accepts mobile tickets (ie. just show the barcode on your phone), or do I have to print them out?

Thanks!

Sounds like Allen is playing from his quotes, but not sure.
Irving is playing, which sucks for us. Time to see some D from Whitehead to have any chance at slowing him down. Horford should have a field day in the opening minutes if Mozzy is on him (edit as I forgot until later than Al starts at PF) , so I really hope Zeller starts (doubt it) or Mozzy is pulled within minutes.

Ideally, I'd want to see...

Dinwiddie (32) / IW (16)
Din needs to play his normal controlled game. IW needs to play D and keep TO's low

Crabbe (24) / LeVert (24)
Whoever is playing better, ride them and give them the majority of the minutes. For now, see how Crabbe starts and go from there

DMC (32) / Harris (16)
DMC needs to play his usual brand of D, while he Harris hit 3s

RHJ (32) / Acy (16)
Horford is a tough match-up for RHJ with his size, strength and inside outside game. One of those games where I wish we had a full-sized PF.

Zeller (16) / Allen (16) / Booker (16)
I'd like to see if we have something with Zeller starting, especially since Baynes won't pull him out to 3. Let Allen get minutes but of course we need Booker's energy.

Prediction:
Celtics 108 - Nets 92

Too much defense for us to get quality looks, and the C's are hot hot hot.

RHJ had 17/11 last time he faced Al Horford. I'm more worried about having Crabbe and LeVert picking up the slack offensively with Russell out.

Last season, on 4-15, in a loss, where Horford played C for the Celtics.
