“We're still trying to figure out the whole 'big' situation and how we can be the most efficient," Atkinson told Newsday. "Even [Friday] I haven't made a definite decision yet how we'll go. [The Jazz] go small a lot."

Mozgov is averaging 14.9 minutes this season, but in the past five games his time on the floor has dropped to 13.4 minutes. Whether he starts or comes off the bench, Mozgov could have a limited role moving forward with Atkins electing to play Booker, Quincy Acy, rookie Jarrett Allen and Tyler Zeller at center.

"I still have to do my work, still have to be ready and come ready on the court and do my best," Mozgov said.

Mozgov, 31, is signed through 2019-20 and in the last two years of his contract. He's owed $32.72 million, which is why the Lakers were desperate to get him off their books.

About time Mozzy got benched, but I'm not sure Booker is the answer. I'd rather see Zeller or Allen.

And with Rubio out, watch Neto drop 30 points and 20 assists.
Favors goes for 30 and 20 rebounds.

For some reason, that kid reminds me of Carlton Banks. It might be the goofiness or the joy spread across his face. Not sure.

I think we should start Zeller and keep Booker's energy off the bench. I'm cool with Allen as 3rd center while he adjusts to the NBA game. Wouldn't mind keeping Moz out of the rotation until we need him. He's been very bad.

Don't want to see Acy or RHJ at center. Ever if possible. RHJ can do it but it's painful to watch him fighting those big guys down low.

Crazy day. Yeah, try Zeller. Allen isn't ready yet. I agree with MGrand15, Booker's energy off the bench is best.

I guess now Whitehead has to step up. Dinwiddie can do the job. Also, now a chance for SKil to get back in the game.

Who would have thunk'd that Lin will be gone the whole season then DRuss would need surgery early on into it. Crazy.

Booker was solid at C versus the celtics, i think he's earned a look. Zeller plays hard but he's too limited. Booker is active on both ends and scores whenever he gets the chance. I keep Booker and Allen at C, RHJ/Acy at PF, DMC/Joey Buckets at SF, Crabbe/LeVert at SG, and Dinwiddie/Whitehead.

Whitehead definitely needs to step up. LeVert looked like his old self last game so hopefully he's mentally back to where he needs to be.

Nets will have to make a roster move imo for another PG, unless Kenny feels comfortable with letting LeVert handle spot mins at PG while moving SKilpatrick into the rotation. all hands on deck.

I wish we had Donovan Mitchell. What could've been if we were able to trade Detroit for that #12 pick when it was reported they were rumored to be trading it.

Btw it was reported last week that Sean Marks wanted to pair Russell with Mitchell.

Dinwiddie is so good. Funny looking back at the Yogi v Dinwiddie debate now.

Pretty amazing we can lose 2 starting PGs to knee injuries and have Spencer Dinwiddie to fill the void.
