This is the type of player that is available in Rd. 2.

- Terrible footwork
- poor at protecting the ball w/ his body
- poor at finishing
- reminds you Ian Mahinmi or Prince Ibeh

5 ppg, maybe 3 rpg w/ a lot of turnovers and no outside shot

Whiteside is a great story. You do realize it took 2 years of overseas and 1 year in the DLeague to make him not a bust right? We're not in a position to take our mid pick and wait 3 yrs. for him to become or not become something. Whiteside in college is comparable to Prince Ibeh in Long Island. How's he doing?

Also some were high on Whiteside, but his footwork even in this clip is better than Nick.

If there's a stud available in the mid first then I would agree.

We got stud at 20 in 2016 and one at 22 in 2017.

Both were rumored to be ranked in the lottery on our teams internal board.

Idk how Marks does it or if he can do it for a 3rd year in a row, but it definitely numbs the pain knowing that he has the ability to finesse players late in the draft.

is it next season Vezenkov comes?

I think so. That's what I heard last time his name came up, anyway. Since we will probably lose Joe Harris, seems like it.

i did not think highly of kurucs... some others balked too. he was the one guy i didnt want.

that said i do like musa alot, but he seems like a lock lottery pick no?

I wasn’t a huge fan either and of course on draft night we still would’ve taken Allen and at the worst Anunoby.

I haven’t seen him projected to go in the lottery actually. Every mock I’ve seen so far has him in the 17-22 range, which is ideally where our pick will land even though it’s currently 25.

But of course it is absurdly early and you can guarantee that the middle-end of the draft is gonna change dramatically.

i dont put alot of stock in the mocks this early. it usually will change drastically. i know that everyone is super high on him. we will see. id be thrilled with him. but i dont think we will be in position without a trade

I've been watching this kid quite a bit. Let me say he's not a finished product but very promising.

Killian Tillie SF/PF - Gonzaga

- You will notice the first thing that stands out about Tillie is the stroke. *noice*
- his footwork is very advanced for a 19 yr. old
- his ability to pass in the post and high end of the perimeter
- and a good finisher

I think he has the potential of Gallanari in a 6'10 body. Puts it all together, could be the type of pick that Sean Marks finds in a draft and Kenny Atkinson can build into a special PF.

I always say go for best talent available regardless of positions but would love to get a list of the best stretch-bigs coming in this draft.

If we can find a skilled PF/C that can play some D... that would fill a need for sure.

I'd love for us to take a hard look at Brandon McCoy
Spread Em and Dead em.
-Sad DLO is gone
-Allen will become LobCity DJ
-Kyrie will be top 3 for MVP if we get to 50+ wins, he will average 27ppg, 7apg, shooting 50-40-90

Jackson & Bridges are currently mocked in the top 10, and they're going to be playing in our backyard. You have to do your due-diligence. The 8 personnel could very well be just us, NYK & Philly, if you assume each team sends 2-3 reps (e.g. Marks & Langdon).

Grayson Allen would be my pick in the mid 20’s. Tough, can shoot the lights out and dunk all over the place. Also can handle backup pg duties

I watch every game. He'll be gone before the Nets pick. I like him as a player, but he's going to have some short comings on the defensive side of the ball. And he lacks the it factor. In fact, he had to be benched tonight because he wasn't playing with any intensity against Oral Roberts and got two fouls within the first six minutes.

I like him as well. I'm a bit hesitant given our existing guard depth, but depth is needed for trades.

Bleacher Report has us taking Grayson Allen also with the Raps’ pick.

I wouldn’t mind it at all. He could be the Joe Harris replacement.

I don't mind Allen because he competes, is athletic and is a knockdown shooter. my only concern is maturity.

if he pulls that nonsense that he has done over the last few years against an NBA player he will get his face bashed in. it won't be a matter if either, just a question of when and where it happens. That being said, I'm open to the pick. we should select the BPA with the Raps pick anyway.

"supposed"? he is

he's the type of guy you'd want on your team, but would hate him if he was on someone else's team. i would just hate for this kid to get drafted by us and someone cleans his clock for being an idiot on the court.

Well, there's a difference between being an a-hole and being a bad teammate. Solong as he can be a good teammate, I'd be on board.
