he's barely 6'4 with shoes and his wingspan isn't much. that being said, he would fit right in with this team.

Not to nitpick, but he's 6'3.5 barefoot, essentially 6'5 in sneakers on any team. His wingspan sucks though, yeah.

One of the best shooters in this draft who could be a realistic target is Kevin Huerter. Also Khyri Thomas.
Those guys both defend too.

can we get a consensus pick on who we want with 29? Right now the end of the draft and start of the second seem very fluid. Sounds like there's about 3-5 guys we're expecting to take.

Huerter looks perfect for Brooklyn.

I want Lonnie Walker @ 29, but I understand it's a pipe dream. With that said, the pick will be Chandler Hutchison if they don't trade down. Just my .02 cents.
OKC Thunder fan, too.

Highly unlikely at 29 tbh, he's probably going in the early to mid 20's.

i dont want to pick at all at #29. its the second worst pick in the draft next to #30. late backup level talent but still gauranteed contract. i hop we trade it to a team with no pick in this draft for future picks or multiple seconds or a heavily protected future first if we can package #29 and carroll/lin/dinwiddie/levert/whomever to move up.

Revisiting Divencenzo and Wagner...
I dont like to get into the draft and guys who have great NCAA tournaments due to recency bias and small sample. and a step further i dont like to let combined numbers outside wingspan and height sway me.
so after taken a hiatus and looking at those guys i did aother deep dive into both of them
i still think wagner is a stiff. he had a flat out bad season. he is closer to a homeless mans mozgov then he is some rebounding stretch 5 in the making. he is weak defensiely, he takes tons of bad shots and forces it in the post where depsite his size he cant bully smaller players with regularity.
Divencenzo on the other hand i really like. his elite athleticism jumps out rewatching games and highlights and scouting videoes. not just athletic but explosive. players above the rim on both ends. like a shorter wade when it comes to shot blocking, transition rebounbds/blocks, and second chance dunks/putbacks.
good shooter, finished with both hands. really competitive even if kind of a punk at times.
i think he can be like... a super athletic version of wayne ellington?
id be happy taking him

Agreed on both takes. I see a lot of people on the other Nets site clamoring for Wagner still. There are I think 2 guys on there who are even telling me he's athletic. Lol.

Re: The Nets 2018 NBA Draft Thread (#29, #40, #45 picks)
First of all, it was long, starting at 7 a.m. with psychological tests.
“It was serious,” Watanabe said, with nearly 300 questions ... and given while the day’s prospects were eating breakfast. Then, there were the physical tests which in comparison, Watanabe said, were “not bad.”
There were tests of athleticism: running, jumping, strength and agility. Then, it was on to the workout.
Aside from the Allen bias, it’s an Interesting read on our workout process so far.

Yutu looks good the lefty can shoot, dribble defend and is a passer. I hope he's not getting overlooked because he's Japanese.

Watanabe-kun has a pretty nice feel for the game, i love his height, ball handling, and passing. He said he had a bad shooting performance during workouts, while his three ball seems decent (his shot looks good in this clip), taking a look at his advanced numbers from college he doesn't appear to be a knockdown type.
I'd definitely take a 2nd round flyer on him since we have two picks. He should not be overlooked because of his ethnicity, that would be criminal and honestly infuriating. basketball is the most inclusive sport in the world, if scouts/gms are doing to this guy what was done to Jeremy Lin it's seriously disgusting.
