Nets don't match up good with this team.

They have to pay better attention to the shot clock.

Not going to watch the rest of this, Pelicans are a terrible matchup for us.

We need to just keep plugging away and move the ball on offense better. this is a tough match up, Cousins is a beast. Good experience for Jarrett Allen to gain though.

Acy looking good. Very solid close to the quarter.

sheesh, this is the worst possible match up to have to face right after the Spurs.

I can see why Lin wanted to play with Anthony Davis.

our team plays with no toughness, no defense or hard fouls. booker-okafor trade really is perplexing, im sure okafor would produce positively with minutes

I keep thinking about how much booker's energy and fourth quarter timely clutchness would be helping in the last 5 or so games. Might have swung some of those close loses to wins

Tonight is the first night we really haven't had the aggressiveness that we saw over the last three games. RHJ, LeVert, Acy and Harris are trying but everyone else's energy is pretty low and we've made some really boneheaded plays.

Games like this are where we miss Russell. Sometimes you need those go to baskets. but even then, our defense has been pretty much non existent and it doesn't help that the Pelicans have two stud players at C and PF.

The loss of Trevor Booker goes without saying. he always gave us a boost and that energy and toughness has not been replaced. I definitely thinking adding to our frontcourt depth in the draft is a must.

rhj, levert, and harris are the main players we have that play with heart and seem to care if we lose. the others have been going through the motions and seeing doyle over okafor has made me really question atkinson this season (kilpatrick could have made more impact than doyle)

I mean we had RHJ guarding Cousins and Zeller guarding AD. Effort and execution is nice but we were meant for a bad time regardless. We struggle with teams that have one elite big. Two is a disaster even if we're at absolute full strength.

We just don't have enough talent to compete. We need Russell for some easy baskets. We need Lin for some drives and FTs. We need Booker's rebounding and hustle.

A veteran, not young, gritty player. I didn't like losing Booker's grit. Russell will help a lot. Okafor, we'll see. Beyond that, this is the Nets right now.
