I thought this was hype until I seen an article saying he's a leading vote getter lol apparently Twitter came through with a movement.

Other than being 11th in the NBA in RPM right between Giannis and Oladipo (two probable all-stars) which is a great look, his base stats aren't quite ASG worthy. That being said I would love this unless the snub is outrageous like Kyrie or something. Kemba can hold that L though.

This vote for widdie thing is ridiculous. I'm putting in 10 votes for Yi Jianlian like I do every year.

First off, he’s an MIP candidate. Therefore, he does have a reason to be voted for in any capacity. He obviously unlikely makes the ASG but It’s called supporting your players.

Nets have never had a leading vote getter since Jason Kidd. Net fans are showing up in droves to vote for the kid says more about the fanbase than anything else right now. It’s called having fun, you know.

That’s why it’s hypocritical to complain about opposing fans coming into our gym but you don’t want to support the guy who’s been balling while LeVert was slumping. There’s really no excuse not to take part in a all-star weekend that nobody takes seriously so the league removed the conference format, so let’s not act like the ASG is some prestigious thing. It’s a popularity contest and it shows Dinwiddie has a cult following now similar to D’angelo.

That’s the point.

i think he deserves MIP, i dont see how that should anyone make him a consideration for the ASG. supporting players doesnt have to mean being a homer and voting in your guys just because, i think that actually does them a disservice. an ASG appearance should be earned IMO

Is there really any "prestige" to being in the ASG anymore? Guys showboat and just have fun. Remember when Josh Howard, Jamaal Magloire were all starts?

Yeah, Dinwiddie gots my vote.

I don't think he's an all-star but I think it would be funny if he gets in since it's a glorified popularity contest and not actually based on who are truly the best players this season.

Will getting voted into the Allstar game increase his trade value? If so, tweet away.

It's not a foul if you let go of their arm before they release the shot
