Jamil Wilson is on waivers, he's a stretch 3/4. Should the Nets go after him now that Carroll might be out for a while?

I wanted us to sign Gerald Green.

Do we have a roster spot to sign anyone if Carroll is out long term or are we using the injured player exception?

he's a 2 way contract player. They could just have Carroll on IR and Wilson can take his place.

Unfortunately, DPE don't give us a free roster spot, so to sign a player we have to cut anyone. I don't know man, except Whitehead and Mozgov nobody on this roster is useless.

I'm shocked the Clippers unloaded him. 43% from long range, 47% w/o the dribble. :-? He won't be on waivers too long. In our case he shouldn't be on waivers. They should pluck him and insert him, no offence to Carroll, Jamil from the tapes I've seen is better offensively. Idk if defensively I'd trust him like Demarre on Butler. But he's definitely versatile there too.

They better act fast before some other team scoops him up. I like Whitehead and don't want to waive him are they allowed to replace Jacob Wiley as a two way player with Wilson? that's what he was in LA.

If the issue is guaranteeing his contract for the rest of the year that shouldn't be a problem.

Yeah I don't know much about this guy, but I read now he's 27 years old and play only few games for Torino in Serie A until L.A Clippers.
Maybe yes, we can cut Waley and give him a two-way contract.

Damn the Lakers really cut him for that?

I guess they couldn’t take anymore bad press with the Ball sideshow going on.

I don’t think that necessarily indicates a character issue. Right now they’re just accusations and very small ones at that.

exactly. I'm not interested in his sex life, I'm interested in character and basketball skills. But homie wrap it up if that's true. :-?

Very true, he deserves his day in court. I don't take sexual assault lightly so I don't dismiss people when they say someone did something, but accusations should be investigated thoroughly for the benefit of all parties involved.

That being said, if it's true that he knowingly transmitted herpes to that woman, he definitely is a scumbag. Sleeping with people and spreading STDs is not the sign of someone with decent character   I wouldn't trust anyone who goes around doing that

Agreed. the biggest difference between spreading and STD and actual sexual assault is that one can happen by accident. Also how does she know she got it from him? I usually believe people about sexual assault but when it comes to “oh this famous person gave me herpes,” we gotta understand that there are plenty of people that make up **** to get money from rich people. Unfortunately for her he’s not rich despite being an NBA player.
