I didn't watch the game last night, but how was he as a starter? Looks like all the starters sucked early on last night contributing to that 20 point halftime hole.

Acy beasted last night. When he plays like that, he's a valuable contributor.

I think he should do the pump and drive from behind the 3 point line less. That's not his strength. But done, at times, if he has a good passing lane as he did at times last night, he does fine. He was a beast on defense and played his heart out last night.

I was very critical of Acy when he came into the league.
People compared him to Reggie Evans and even a poor man's Rodman. Both of those were ridiculous.

He struggled to find playing time and worked hard to expand his game by adding that 3 ball, and trying to become more of a physical defender.

I honestly think that 2-3 years from now, fans will look at him the way they have looked at PJ Tucker the last couple of years. I former flop that has reinvented himself into a very useful piece on a playoff team.

People will also criticize Kenny with Acy, but once again our bigs were getting owned. When you can't match up underneath, you might as well go all in on a speed/range advantage.

Acy buys into the system that's one of the reasons the coach loves him. He brings energy as well as spacing the floor.
