Hopefully he's Steve Novak - like seeing that Langdon had a connection there and it's not just some random signing. Not expecting much though.

High character, hard working guy with a nice 3pt shot and competes on D. Still young enough to get better. I like this signing.

The more I read about Joe Harris, the more I'm liking it.

Good depth signing for the low. SF who can shoot and hustle who isn't too old and he also played on the Cavs at a point.

Maybe I'm too much of a basketball junkie but I've known about Harris for a long time.

In fact, I'm pretty sure there was a time that the Nets were thinking about doing a deal with the Cavs and we were (reportedly) asking for Harris back in the deal. :dontknow:

Let's hope he develops into some sort of JJ Reddick

According to ND, it's a 2yr vet min deal with the first year guaranteed. Second year is non-guaranteed team option, that becomes a partial guarantee of 250K on Oct.31st, 2017 if he's not waived by that deadline.

He talks about taking pride in defense, that's good, he understands 3&D would get him and the team places.

Kid was a great college player. Surprised so few remember his time in cleveland he was playing for them a lot when they started the year off struggling. I don't think he will make any impact he was kinda a stand in the corner and space the floor for lebron type player.

Someone just shouted "Joey Buckets" and "Marry Me, Joey" at Joe Harris. #strange

In a team built with candidates, I predict Joe Harris will become Mr. Who He Play For? of the Brooklyn Nets :D

Karasev didn't see the floor because he was terrible. I was on the "Karasev is not an NBA player" bandwagon for a long time. It was clear as day that he had no business being here.

Joe Harris has always been a guy who either was injured at the wrong time or was on too good of a team for the organization to really invest in developing him. If Harris doesn't play, it won't be because he is complete trash. It'll be due to injury or some other non-basketball related activity.

I don't think anyone is really putting their hopes and dreams on him but I personally don't need to wait until the regular season to declare whether he's better than Karasev. Especially on a roster like ours, he's definitely going to get PT.
