Getting a game chaning player is typically a once-in-a-decade opportunity. and often teams miss their shot by not being able to make that trade or missing on that high draft pick.

We are doing the right thing, keeping our cap clean and stocking picks/assets/developing so that when the opportunity comes we will have a decent shot to capitalize on it. We should have a lottery pick this year and next year and maybe beyond if we stand pat in free agency and move on from RHJ or Russell.

this is year 3 of a 6 year rebuild and we have plenty of money and picks to come.

We need to rely on more than just three point shooting. I mean the only two dudes that come through with hammer dunks are Allen and RHJ and neither of them are explosive leapers.

Agreed on the team needing athleticism they need some defense too. Crabbe and RHJ are good defenders in the starting lineup that's it.

its really just RHJ and even with him to give you 60-65 healthy games a year. I agree we need defenders, which is why Graham is here and maybe carve out a role. The thing with Bringing in athletic players is they tend to be solid defenders too

Is Tobias Harris an All-Star in the East?

Top forwards: Giannis, Ben Simmons, Kawhi...Heyward?

Tobias is definitely familiar with throwing lobs to centers

Show your reverence. Sean Marks has nailed two drafts in a row with LeVert and Allen and Rodi and Musa both have upside.

and then comes the 2019 draft...

LeVert was ecstatic about the 7-day trip and told NetsDaily that the experience was “great.”

“I learned a lot out there. Kevin [Durant] is obviously a great competitor, great player and you kind of see why he is the way he is, and I was only with him for a week,” LeVert said. “You can see just how hard he works and how diligent he is with his work. He’s a true professional and I was really thankful and blessed to go out there and work with him.”

Did Durant have any words of wisdom to help him move on ... despite the Nets poor season?

“‘Just be ready. Be ready for that moment.’ We don’t get a lot of TV games or anything like that, but he just said, when we do, ‘make sure you’re ready for it; make sure you’re ready to play your best when the spotlight is on you.’”
