I don't necessarily want Kenny to treat this one as a regular season game tbh after that over time game but I would give Russell/LeVert/Allen the 1st 2 quarters to play against top tier competition and that's it, we need to see what we have with Graham, Rodi, Musa etc. Most likely, LeVert gets checked by Leonard early on which will be a good test.

Either way, from the main guys I just want to see good habits and discipline versus one of the top two teams in our division. that's all. i don't care about a win. just run the offensive sets, move the ball and execute. defensively, i want to see communication and guys making contact with the nearest body on every jumpshot on the defensive glass.

Atkinson is going to sit Ed Davis and DeMarre Carroll tonight. Both are fine, but he just wants to give minutes to Kenneth Faried in his #Nets debut & get a longer look at rookie Rodions Kurucs, who has been good so far.

I follow Faried on Instagram and it’s obvious that he’s itching to be used. Glad we finally get to see him suit up. He’s fitting in well with the personalities we have.

Looks like tonight is Rodi's big chance. If he plays good in extended minutes versus Raptors rotation player, he most likely makes a case for himself in the rotation.

Injuries: Crabbe, RHJ, Napier, Williams.

Rest: Ed Davis and Carroll.

Starters I expect: Russ/Levert/Graham/Dudley/Fro

Bench: Dinwiddie/Harris/Musa/Rodi/Faried.

Reason I start Graham = To get guys used to their roles + He is new Quincy Acy for Kenny

We'll get a good look at Faried and Kurucs hopefully some more Dinwiddie and perimeter defense as well.

Interested to see what Faried can bring to the table here. Hoping Caris/DLO/Allen can build on the good games they had on Monday
