Really poor start to this game for the Nets. Lets see if the bench unit can get some stops and boost the energy

The bench unit really did a decent job to close out that quarter. Better energy and better looks.

I really do not like that first unit without a 2nd ball handler in the backcourt. Its putting way too much pressure on Russell to create for four guys who can't do much without being assisted. Kenny needs to go with Russell/Dinwiddie from the outset and move Crabbe to the bench.

Napier is playing well.

Russell needs to move off the ball and get some open catch and shoot looks. His shot is off right now.

Looking like a typical 2nd of a b2b. Lazy defense, bad shooting.

Unless something changes dramatically, we're probably taking an L tonight. Everyone's jump shot is broken and the defense is trash. forget it.

RHJ's defense is so valuable for this team. His offense might not be back to last season levels but his D and actively level is definitely back.

Nets shooting needs to pick up in the next half. Crabbe is the only one that is hitting from outside, we need Harris and Russell to really get into gear offensively.

Have to say, I love what Ed Davis brings to this team...but he really shouldn't be a roll guy

He has bad hands and almost never catches the ball clean off a pass, and is not a terrific finisher. You are better off taking it strong to the hoop and a) make the basket b) get fouled c) Ed Davis cleans up your miss (and probably gets fouled in the process too) which is what he's excellent at doing.

Dudley has been benched. Russell/Crabbe/Harris/RHJ/Allen are the starting 5.
