GT: Nets vs. Suns 12/23/2018 6pm EST

Post#1 » by MrDollarBills » Sun Dec 23, 2018 2:39 pm

We lost a tough game versus a fantastic team in Indiana, but by no means should the Nets take Phoenix lightly. Time to get back on track, and to get to a very respectable 16-19 when you take into consideration the amount of close games we've played and the teams we've beaten. This Nets team brings it.

Pounce on them early and do not let up. I need to see D'Angelo Russell bounce back, he had a tough time against Indy.

Give me plenty of Rodi Kurucs.

I still think Kenny needs to find some time to get Napier minutes. We need ball handlers out there. Indiana stifled the Nets offense early in our last game because we only have one dude that can get to the basket.

Our future majority owner approved of Kenny’s ejection.

You're going to have a hard time convincing me as to why Ed Davis shouldn't be brought back next year. He shows up every night ready to work.

Air Latvia! Rodi has been unleashed! He's a baller.. he needs to start every game going forward alongside Allen and LeVert once he returns.

Suns look much better than last time we faced them.. Ayton/Booker look more focused plus their bench looks better with Oubre.

If Rodi keeps up this level of play, which I think he will... he might have a chance at Rookie first-team? :o

Trae, Doncic, JJJ and Ayton should be locks. but who's the fifth guy?

RHJs recklessness is really a gift and a curse. He really needs to find the balance though. Too many times we have the advantage on offense and he completely throws it away with his tunnel vision.

There are times when Kurucs tries to do too much and while it's nice to see him play hard, it's so much more rewarding when he plays within the team.

You're not cool if you're not turned on by Kurucs' play right now.
