Kenny is legitimately being ridiculous putting Kurucs on Kemba to start the game. Honestly an embarrassing decision.

DLos young and does some good things but if you need to be hidden on defense and your efficiency is way below average, you're gonna have a tough time starting on a decent team.

Everything's falling for the Hornets. Nets can't buy one for their life. Hornets are even still getting help from the refs too.

How is Russell playing like garbage when he's the only one to actually make a shot? He has all 6 of our points on 3-5 FG, zero TOs. The rest of the team is 0-8 and on defense Walker is shaking Kurucs out of his shoes.

One possession Jarrett Allen got called for an illegal screen because D Lo went way too early before Allen could properly set the screen. Another possession ended with RHJ taking a contested 3 in the corner, because Russell can't get by his man and drive into the paint. This isn't some agenda, its the **** truth.

So the rest of the starting unit being 0-12 is Russell's fault. Jarrett Allen's 4 TOs is Russell's fault. Got it.

It is a **** ing an agenda, but you go on blaming one dude for an entire unit playing like ass.

This is a good test because the Hornets clearly watched the game over and prepared for the switching.

wow, amazing how everyone in the starting unit except for Russell gets taken out and all of a sudden the Nets start cutting into the lead. Must be Russell's fault here too.

Expected start from the Hornets after the last game. Just need to weather the storm and get within striking distance by halftime

down 16 after 1. Not an ideal way to start on the road but hopefully we can get some better ball movement and some stops this quarter to keep it close heading into the half.

When the offense can't generate a good shot for like 10 straight possessions, its either on the coaching staff or the main playmaker on the court, or both. In this case, it starts with Russell's inability to create offense for his teammates. RHJ taking 3 threes early on is testament to that. Jarrett Allen is the other player who played like garbage in this quarter, I'm not absolving him of blame, but he's still a 2nd year player who is figuring **** out. Russell is playing for his future here and needs to do better. He's even being hidden on defense, and not guarding Kemba.

If other players play like ****, I'll call them out for it. But the offense starting out that stagnant and slow like it did here has a lot to do with Russell's weaknesses.
