I'm just going to keep going full Rain Man. You can look at everything and everyone on this roster and the refs, etc., but 13 missed free throws in regulation. 13. The game goes to OT. There's no way they should miss more than say 10 and that's even really bad considering this wasn't Hack-An-Ed, or anything like that. This was 12 misses by good free throw shooters. 1 by Ed.

**** these refs. All night long they favored the Blazers.

Prayers for Nurkic.

I wonder if Marks makes a move to add a big for emergency reasons? I mean they have 3-4 guys sitting doing ish anyways on the bench every game....

allen getting owned by nurkic
dlo with the bad TOs in both OTs
DW with the unnecessary fouls in both OTs
Harris having an offnight
Kurucs couldn't stay on the floor for not contributing

So many reasons why we lost this game

No doubt refs killed us but I have to agree we played brainless basketball all night long. Dumb turnovers + missed FTs + **** refs = L

I'm sure people are gonna be excited about this loss but if you're up 7 with 3 minutes left on the road, the team has to pull out the win. Missed free throws, dumb turnovers, bad shot selection. Bad idea to stay up for this one.

Don't think anyone here is excited. There's no moral victory to be had here.

Fatigue.

these guys are gassed. especially the young ones not accustomed to playing long seaons or even just 82 meaningful games. everyone setting career highs in minutes... id give some of these guys an off night. or put them on pitch counts

refs did us no favors, complete hack job.

They played a handicap game Vs the referees in Portland and left that game healthy. Let's just go on to the next one. I'm mad cuz dat Nurkic injury doesnt happen if them refs blow the whistle on the Portland bigs in the paint.

We loss, we got one more game on this trip on the road and we back home. So much bull we endured in this game. :nonono:

Nope, not at all. The end of regulation was a disaster.

And if there are 3 specific plays to point towards for the loss, I'd say the missed Harris 3 with under 4 minutes left which would have put them up by 10, which led to a mini-run is up there, the DLo turnover with 9 seconds left and then the Dinwiddie foul. All awful plays that sealed what 13 missed free throws started.

I wonder the zero substitution had any role for the fatigue for the players... Only way out was to foul out lol

This is a bad loss... Let's the spinsters work their magic

Ok I see guys turning the ball over, missing lay ups, missing fts, taking awful shots, committing dumb fouls but yeah it's Kenny's fault I guess.

Sadly yes.

And the refs letting him go vintage Shaq. Like dude should be able to take advantage of his size, but they were letting him toss dudes around and then calling touch fouls in the paint on rebounds on the Nets. Yes it was a freak injury, but the refs created the overly physical ending and were almost setting up an injury for someone on one of the 2 teams.

I seriously can't sleep now because of Nurkic. Think I'll go for a run and try to tire myself out like I did for LeVert's injury.

Missed free throws and turnovers at crucial parts of the game are the reason they lost. They were up by 1 with 19 seconds left in the game and DLO loses the ball.... That can't happen.

Yeah no easy around it. We just plain **** up. Incredibly boneheaded plays down the stretch. This team is more Jekyll and Hyde than I'd like it to be.

I'll spin it, we battled, we're on fumes on the road, we didnt get one call, Din was pushed, hit on the head, Harris hit on the nose, Carroll called for a weak incidental contact, it bit Portland in the end cuz that would have cleared the paint and Nurkic doesnt break his leg.

At the end of the night, we go to Philly, they are back on the east coast closer to their home. Where we can regroup.

Yeah Godspeed man. I'm going to try and force myself to sleep now but I'm not holding my breath. Or maybe I should...
