Things I dont count on happening again:

- JJ Reddick being a non factor offensively
- Dinwiddie/Levert being god mode good (i think they will be great, but a notch below god mode)
-Jarrett Allen being on the bench/non factor
-RHJ seeing 0 minutes

Things I do count on happening:

-our gaurds consistently going at them off the dribble
-Minutes for dudley and graham
-Russell playing a touch better
-Dudley hitting some open threes
-Brett Brown continues to show why he is an awful coach

Things i hope happen:

-Embiid sits this one out
-Tobias Harris doesnt have a big game (i assume he will play better)
-Scrub shooters keep missing threes (guys like simmons and boban who have no business taking them)

Hey 76ers fan here... good game the first game you guys are the last team I wanted to play the matchups are just terrible for us and Brett Brown is a complete idiot. I fully expect you guys to win this and 5 and I hope you do so we can get rid of Brett Brown. Outside of the kid in Minnesota he would be the last coach I would choose. You guys have a bright future and a good coach... good luck to you!

Thanks. id be shocked if we won in 5. id be somewhat surprised if we won, and i wouldnt be confident of winning even without embiid.

I love this nets team. even if they fell short its one of my favorite seasons in nets history (im over 40). This team fights, everyone buys in, pulls for eachother.

I think Philly needs to fire brown ASAP. he isnt fit to be a head coach. I think they would also be smart to start building some culture there and bringing in a ton of guys like dudley. I'm not going to bash you for tanking but i think their are some negative remenants of tanking holding your team back

Lets all also keep in mind this game is gravy. in any situation splitting on the road in the first two is critical.

The best way to defend Embiid is to not foul and let him get rest. He's out of shape and was tired i game 1 that's one of the reasons he was shooting so many 3's. Key to the defense tonight don't foul.

I'll take fouls over dunks and threes.... especially if its Embiid. He is already hobbled, being physical with him isnt a bad thing. I'd rather let them go 1 on 1 leading to some fouls the double team leading to open 3s and some easy buckets

I think the exact opposite is true. tire him out by making him play physical and forcing him to earn his points. Hell look how frustrated he got with that techincal on dudley after a hard foul.

I hope they foul Ben Simmons every time he gets the ball below the foul line.

yep. I cringed when Kenny started sending double teams in the latter part of the game.

No open threes, no lay ups. if they want to do post ups and mid range jumpers by all means, let them die on that hill.

Why? Make him prove that he can score.

The double teams were to help and save the guy guarding Embiid from fouling out. They did a good job on Reddick none of the other guys could hit a three luckily. They got open threes bc the defense was focusing on Embiid.

-We fouled Embiid a ton
-Embiid shot a ton of free throws.

We won by double digits. Embiid was frustrated into a technical. Embiid was gassed and left a few times due to fatigue/injury.

The facts actually say that YOU are wrong. but i mean, when have you ever cared about facts?

I don't know if it's a coaching thing or a players not focusing thing but the more I watch from Game 1, the more I see how AWFUL Philly was defensively.

This is a dumb stat but I think it shows how little Philly did in terms of game planning and executing the game plan. Rodi and Graham were a combined 0 for 1 in a combined 28 minutes. The only explanation for that is that they weren't left open at all. Look, those guys can potentially be respectable shooters but if you're not sagging off them against our guards, you're gonna be in big trouble. You can't play our backcourt 1 on 1.

I expect them to adjust and make us work for our buckets. If they play the same scheme they did for Game 1, were going to roast them again. We scored 111 while getting no calls and Russell struggling bad in the first half.

111 is actually low for us against philly as well.

Regular season we scored: 122, 125, 127, and 118.

They have absolutely no awnser for our gaurds, our pace, our shooters and our depth. if they beat us, it will be by outscoring us id assume. Their trash gaurds wont turn into good defenders overnight.

It helps brett brown is the worst coach not named scott brooks
