Excellent pick up but I'm curious as to how this is going to work cap wise.

Do we have to get rid of Musa for this move?

Not sure how I feel about it. I like Temple but he's older and a really inconsistent shooter.

Yeah I don’t understand this move. Better off giving Musa or even Pinson a shot.

So us signing KD was contingent on us signing Garrett Temple?

No lol.

I just don’t understand why we committed to him so early. I’m just throwing out possible theories since it seems like Marks could’ve waited to let the dust settle before nabbing him.

I know what you meant lol. If anything he gives us good depth.

I think we just prioritized him. Alan Anderson 2.0.

don't get me wrong, Temple in himself is a good player and positive signing for us.

Seems like a better version of Alan Anderson. Like that we are bringing in some veteran leaders with good reps in the lockerroom. Would love to bring back Dudley too if possible.

Great signing he's a good player! He scored 30 points more than once in 2018 you guys are going to love him. He's good NOW and won't get in the way of Musa's development since he's old. (I didn't know he's 33) Maybe they could've chose to go for someone younger but it is what it is. Musa has two players to learn from now; that's a positive not a negative; and getting him makes us a better team.

42 percent on field goals and 34% from 3 last year. 40 percent and 35% for his career. He's a 73-74% free throw shooter averaging out his career. If they slow the pace down a little and allow the players to mix it up according to their feel for the game, he should be fine.

We don’t lose anyone for this. Decent signing. Cheap enough and seems like a replacement glue guy off the bench. Remember we lost Carroll and Crabbe. Need some back up guard/sf players now.

technically we lose other options who would have gotten the room exception. not sure who those might have been. im not farmiliar enough with temple, but at first glance he fits the mold and is a good crabbe replacement

unless we could have gotten ellington on the room im fine with this
