We had a low key 3&D gem in Nwaba, shame about the achilles injury. I'm a bit surprised that Rockets have snapped him up now, but not surprised at all that Rockets were very interested in him. 3&D players are highly coveted in this league now, especially for a team like rockets.

We couldn't sign him back in the same season once we waived him. We had to wait till next season, and that's probably why Rockets have done this now. Rockets are gonna pay him decent money for the rest of this season, and then have him for 2020-21 season. So it's essentially a one year deal.

I'm happy for him, I hope he is able to come back strong from the injury.
