yeah, i'm happy for the team, I can't help but think how the NBA is still downplaying us. Celtics vs. a Kawhi-less Raptors team is not going to draw an audience in the US compared to Brooklyn in Boston on Christmas day.
I view this as disrespect. If they wanted the Raptors to get a Christmas day game make them play the Warriors or something.

I'm constantly traveling on Christmas so I don't usually get a chance to watch a full game so personally couldn't care less, thankful really.

I don't think the NBA wanted that kind of hostility on Christmas Day. Good call IMO.

Silver must have expected a few n bombs being dropped by that Boston crowd. Won't shock me at all.

Can you imagine if Kyrie drops 50 in that game?

We rest on Christmas this year because you know for a fact we'll get it next year versus Milwaukee or Philadelphia.

I would prefer he drop 27/6/8 on good efficiency in a balanced offensive attack leading to a decisive road victory.

Those are MVP level numbers. If Kyrie can put together that type of season we might shock the NBA.

Per Windrem:
The NBA regular season schedule is out and the Brooklyn Nets will open the much awaited 2019-20 season vs. the Minnesota Timberwolves at Barclays Center on October 23. The first Nets vs. Knicks game (the have’s vs. the have not’s) will take place on October 25, also at Barclays.
Although the Nets missed out on getting a Christmas Day game for the sixth straight year, they will play the 76ers on Martin Luther King Day, January 20, the NBA’s other signature event. The Nets and Knicks, who also got left off the Christmas schedule, will play the next day, December 26, at Barclays Center.
Sixers vs. Nets on MLK Day, Knicks vs. Nets the day after Christmas. I need to get me some tickets STAT
