I'm not remotely concerned at all about Durant. That shot is never going away.

and regarding Kyrie, yeah I think a certain level of comfort in the offense and time is in order before he should be changing play calls in the middle of a possession. He's a veteran star player so I think Kenny will be flexible but really in our offense Kyrie is going to get plenty of isolation attacks.
Looks like Prince starts and Rodi will be off the bench. Interesting.
I think it's a fantastic thing to have Jarrett have to bang against DeAndre every day in practice. This will be huge for his development.

DeAndre is a huge fan of Nic Claxton.

Claxton is a really intriguing prospect for us at PF. Based on his skillset and length I think he is going to be a another Marks pick that outperforms his draft position.

Jarrett stands out while Musa and Rodi show progression in Day 3 of Training Camp.
Higher level of competition stretches across the roster. With Atkinson’s preference to play 10, that means Rodions Kurucs and Dzanan Musa are going to have to fight for their minutes.
“They have to earn it. They have to earn their spot in the rotation,” Atkinson said. “They’ll have to earn their minutes.”
For Musa, that’s meant improving his shooting and heretofore-leaky defense, with Atkinson “really pleased with his progress” in both areas. He still hasn’t pinned down Musa’s position, other than to say it’s not point guard.
“He’s a 2, 3, possible small-ball 4. Because he’s 6-8½, he’s a big dude and he’s getting stronger,” said Atkinson. “So positionally, I could see him playing all spots.”
And on Tuesday, it’s probably no coincidence that Atkinson pointed to Allen as the standout of practice.
“Jarrett Allen was really good,” Atkinson said. “He played really good — outstanding practice. Let’s leave it at that. If one guy was the standout, he can be it.”
“It’s going great. Jarrett’s a great young player. He’s proven to be a great rim protector and he’s getting better each year,” Jordan said. “We’re definitely challenging him every day in practice. For us, being able to battle against each other every day is going to be good not only for us individually but great for our team.”

Kenny has a funny relationship with Rodi. I can't tell if he thinks he has potential and wants to keep his ego in check or something. Yesterday he took a direct shot at him in the media. Similar to how he blasted him after he scored a career high against Boston.
Rodi's been taking about modeling his game after Draymond Green. Kenny was like WTF. Rodi's been talking to the wrong people. We don't need him to dribble or be a playmaker.

Interested in seeing Jarred Allen’s and Rodi’s improvements. I’m third most interested in seeing Musa and how he develops and of course Kyrie & Caris.

He's trying to keep him in check.
He needs to run the floor, rebound, defend, and hit his threes.

Good observation. Is that because Nwaba sucks as a defender or Kyrie and Caris are pretty much a tough matchup in the backcourt?
Because personally I think Irving and LeVert are a top 5 starting backcourt in the league. There is no one who should be able to stop them.
