Good luck with that after what happened over the weekend.
The Knicks posted an ad on their website for season-ticket holders, asking them to commit to renewals by Feb. 28. A bold move, considering the team’s Eastern Conference-worst record of 10-45, but business is business.
Even bolder? The Knicks including a picture of KD in their pitch.
Seriously. They did that.
Lots of losing and no Kristaps Porzingis meant very little interest in Knicks games.
Ratings on MSG network dropped a massive 38 percent last season, according to figures released Monday by the Sports Business Journal.
"While we understand that some Knicks fans could be disappointed with tonight's news, we continue to be upbeat and confident in our plans to rebuild the Knicks to compete for championships in the future, through both the draft and targeted free agents," Mills said in the statement.
“I think a lot of fans look at the Knicks as a brand and expect these younger players, who in their lifetime don’t remember the Knicks being good," he said. "I didn’t grow up with the Knicks being good. Well, I remember the Knicks being in the Finals, but the kids after me didn’t see that. So the brand of the Knicks isn’t as cool to them as, let’s say, the Golden State Warriors or even the Lakers or the Nets now. The cool thing right now is not the Knicks.”
Durant told Quentin Richardson and Darius Miles of the Player’s Tribune podcast Knuckleheads that he was impressed by the Nets front office.
“Once I got into Brooklyn I had this view on how I wanted to approach this,” he told Richardson and Miles. “And I was like I had to totally throw that out the door because they got the championship mindset already.”

Got to hope those 3's fall early tonight. I don't want to see Dinwiddie throwing up a dozen forced lobs to Jordan either. Don't want to see this game slowed down. Hope Kyrie brings it again tonight!!
And to all the noise about attendance or Knicks fans "infesting" Barclays, I could literally give zero **** about any of that. Small minds focus on small things. I want to look good and win the game playing our style of basketball. (I really need to get off Twitter, there's so much garbage on it between Nets-Knicks)
If Barclays is 100% Knicks fans and we win, I'm happy.
If Barclays is 100% Nets fans and we lose, I'm raging mad.

RJ Barrett knows the vibes.
Barrett said he has no preference where he goes, although he does have New York ties. His mother, Kesha, is from Brooklyn and his father, Rowan, played college basketball at St. John's, so he visited the Big Apple often growing up.
I like Madison Square Garden," Barrett said during an interview with a small group of media outlets on Tuesday, including SNY. "I got to play there, but my family is from Brooklyn. So I guess that's my favorite part [of New York]."

Anyway, I am sending good vibes to our team tonight.
I pray that Kyrie has about 100 more of Wednesday's performances left in the tank this season. We're gonna need 'em.
I pray that Caris and Spencer take care of the ball, slash with authority, hit open shots and create chances for their teammates.
I pray that Taurean and Jarrett bring the fight to the opposition in every interaction, and win 70% of the 50/50 loose balls.
I pray that Joe and DJ focus bringing the best out of their unique roles and skill sets. They bring qualities to this club that no one else can duplicate. With those qualities, they and we are unstoppable. Without those qualities, they look expendable.
I pray that the bench takes on the attitude of pack animals, hungry to finish off the kill that the starters leave for them. Relentless energy, intensity and teamwork.

Our court is beautiful in person. The dimmed lights atmosphere is a great contrast to the grey, black and white tones of the court.
