Yeah not the news we want to hear. Probably looking at a month at least being out for Caris.

I don't expect Shump to leap frog any of our existing bench.

Great, looks like we'll be without LeVert for awhile. Not good.

Hopefully Shump can bring some defensive intensity. I kind of like this signing.

Shumpert is an awful player. He isn't useful on either end of the court, but will act like he's the main offensive option. And has been living off a defensive rep he built in his first couple of seasons for YEARS now. He's a low IQ defensive player that plays lazy basketball, a lot like Deandre. So if we're frustrated by Deandre, just wait til him and Shumpert are on the court together.

I figured we wouldn't hear about LeVert until after he had surgery or something weird.

Shump is probably the worst signing I could imagine. I'd rather sign Melo.

LeVert is out until December.

Im thinking he won't be high up in the rotation. Musa and Claxton have been playing good does this mean Musa will be a forward from now on?

Man this dude Levert stay hurt. We can't trust him. I just hope he can play defense.

Some form of a shoulder injury or soreness.

Given the pace the game is played at during the regular season today, having tall/long, energetic players who can consistently run guys off of their spots on the perimeter is the key to defense.

While Shumpert isn't long, he should be able to at least give us energy and be a nuisance to wing players.

I don't think the Nets are looking at Shumpert as a Levert replacement or even a poor man's version of him. Shumpert represents the type of energetic defender we've been sorely missing on this team.

I don't expect anything from him offensively. And on defense, I'm just looking to see how much he hustles and defends on the perimeter. My bar for Shumpert is very low. If he can surpass it, it would be a good surprise.

Hopefully Shumpert’s annoying 3s go in for us like he does against us! Lol
