This is fine and all but it's just embarrassing that we have no all star game representation.

I don't get that part. Last I remember, Kyrie's was one of the highest tallies in the East.

Are they allowed to discard those votes because of lack of games played...?

Okay, looking it up just now:

The fan vote accounts for 50 percent of the total vote to determine the starters for the NBA All-Star Game. Current players and media members split the other 50 percent.

For some reason I thought the fan vote counted even higher in the past. I guess if the reserves were chosen by the same process, he might have gotten in.

It just reinforces the fact that this is a throw away season.

if kyrie plays in the playoffs its not a throw away season. if our core gets another year of playoffs thats not a throw away season. anyone who thinks not competing for a title is a throw away season loses my respect as a real fan (not specifically calling you out mdb)

I hear you, it's just like the injuries and waiting for KD makes it feel that way.

However, if we can put together a solid post ASB run and we see guys like LeVert and Prince step up to perform consistently, that will go a long way.

It annoyed me as well but we will have Kyrie/KD as starters next year with Dinwiddie as a possible reserve. Obviously, it depends on record as well but KD and Kyrie will be there next ASG.

Dinwiddie ran out of steam for a solid month until recently plus our record isn't impressive.

Kyrie missed most of the season.

No surprises but thought Kyrie might make on name recognition alone.

Anyway, good luck to Spencer and Joey Buckets although I would have prefered them rest instead of participating.

Kyrie didn’t play enough games, Spencer had a chance if not for that slide the Nets went on while he led the team.

Two years ago when no one outside of Brooklyn knew him. That's where the clip of Reggie Miller saying "The Brooklyn Nets are coming people!" came from

Fanduel Sportsbook is what I use. Made a killing on taking the Chiefs at -1.5 the other night.

However, I do not see the odds up yet for the 3 point contest. I may put some money down on Joe but I'm kind of iffy on it because it's rare for guys to win it two years in a row.

Plus, regarding his opponents, Duncan Robinson and Davis Bertans are knock down shooters. Devontae Graham can shoot his ass off too as well and you can't sleep on Trae Young. Joe will have his work cut out for him.

Plus, isn't there a new wrinkle this year where you shoot a rack from extra deep that are worth more points?

Joe seems more comfortable shooting right around the line, unlike some. Another thing that might make it tougher for him this year.

Honestly I wish these two just rested up this all star break, since they both could probably use the break. Oh well.
