I am a die-hard NBA fan and I barely watch FIBA Basketball... just International Tournaments (World Cup, European Cup Olympics...).
What I know for sure is there ain't right now astonishing young stars like in the past (Gasol bros, Ricky Rubio, Doncic...).
When it comes to adult made-players.... well...
I think some NBA scouters should give a look to Pierre Oriola (FCBarcelona. 27 years. 6'9").
He was the bench PF spot in last Spanish World Champion Team and he did so great that he became starter at the Final.
He's by no means a star but a role player and his 3p is barely decent but he's sturdy, smart, a very good teammate, knows the game....
...and he has a particular skill veeeery underrated at Europe but great for the NBA:
He's immune to mismatchHe can guard the 5 positions: Tall and strong enough to batter his ass against Bigs. Clever and mimble enough to hold his ground against guards.
In my opinion, he's an underrated jewel but I don't know if he prefers stay in Europe because I guess NBA would pay him less than FCBarcelona.
Anyway, I'll take a look to some Spanish Bball webpages and I'll let you know what young talents are driving some atention.
