Whether the season ends or extends tonight, I'm proud of my team. I know this isn't game-related, but just for context, please follow me in this thought experiment:

Imagine if the Mavericks went into the season knowing that Porzingis was recovering from one of the worst sports injuries, and was out for the season. Doncic played at an MVP caliber level, but battled injuries as well and only played 24 games. Delon Wright, Seth Curry and Tim Hardaway command the perimeter in the absence of their superstars, while Dwight Powell and Maxi Kleber patrol the paint. Dorian-Finney Smith comes out of nowhere to solidify the defense, but then he goes down with a season-ending injury as well. They are a shell of the team we expected, but somehow tread water at about .500, including some thrilling wins before the ASB. All of a sudden, Rick Carlisle announces he's stepping down as head coach. Then, COVID-19 shuts down the season. Before it resumes, picture this already compromised squad losing Kleber, Wright and Justin Jackson to coronavirus. Going up against the bubble teams with a starting lineup of Seth Curry, Courtney Lee, Tim Hardaway, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist and Dwight Powell seems daunting, but we play with heart and actually snag a couple of W's against the Lakers and Raptors. We lock up the 7th seed, and face the Clippers. We're overmatched, but fight for every inch. Then, hope goes from slim to none when Seth Curry leaves the bubble for a family emergency. The Clippers' endless depth and tenacious D end our season.

Before the bubble started, most pundits had us going 0-8 and missing the playoffs altogether.

We might have been missing 3/4 of our rotation but our guys stepped up and played with great pride.

The Raps are a very tough opponent since they are well-coached, have seasoned vets plus have the confidence of being defending champs. We are outmatched in every possible category.

Game 2 was the back-breaker. That's the game that could have made things a bit more interesting. Tough.

I hope we come out and compete hard, we have nothing to lose.

Without looking? Let's see...LeVert's extension hasn't kicked in. Everyone playing is either on a rookie deal, the league minimum and i think GT makes 5 mil per. Harris makes like 8 mil per season if you want to count him....

I would say combined the Nets active roster =around or near what Tobias Harris makes
