Harden-watch 2020

He’s dropping hints at his experience at Barclays too in years past.

Nash and Marks better get our players right. Would really hate internal discombobulation.

Mods please lock this thread.

Please step away from the ledge, friend, it's really not that serious.

If Houston refuses to comply with James' wishes, or trades him to another team, oh well, we shot our shot. I don't see the opportunity cost of waiting for the Rockets to agree in the same way as you. I don't feel it cost us RoCo, we were not going to outbid Portland. Ibaka would have been nice IF we had traded Allen, but he wouldn't have been happy sharing time with DJ and Jarrett. He also wasn't likely to take such a severe paycut to come to us.

We're in a solid spot. Huzzah.

We aren't getting Harden so might as well give up the hopes and posting clips of Harden working out in NY from two years ago. That's all I'm saying.

Idk, I have this nagging feeling that despite all the posturing from Houston...that there’s still a chance this happens before the season starts. It’s one thing to say that you’re fine with starting the season with a disgruntled star (two in Houston’s case), and it’s another thing to actually do it.

Meh, we’ll see. I’m still excited to see Kyrie and KD together in a Nets uniform, we’re gonna be a good, fun to watch team regardless.

I'm over it.

When the news first broke I was down to make a trade but now that we know Houston will drag this situation I'd rather just move on and focus on the upcoming season with the guys we have. We don't want this situation affecting player morale or chemistry.

Nets also are now 2nd behind the Lakers for the 2021 Championship odds.

It's not totally over but we shouldn't count on it. That's the most logical stance on this I feel.

I’m just kinda swole I didn’t throw a hundo on the Nets to win the title a week before the Harden rumors, we were either +$1400 or +$1600.

Don’t know if we ultimately win it all, but that was a crazy +EV wager.

I see that too. Again, very intriguing.

I could envision us being 2nd in title odds with or without Harden. But odds-on favorite to land him? That's encouraging. Vegas doesn't always get it right, but they tend to know more than the general public. This is more than fans geeking out on idle chatter. I won't be shocked if Houston digs in their heels, but where there's smoke, there's fire.

So Harden a no show at Houston 1st practice after partying like crazy with Lil Baby in Atlanta and Vegas. Rockets saying stuff about covid protocol and making excuses, but I think Harden knows what he's doing, and to me, it appears that he's still trying to force his way out. Harden knew that NBA's covid protocol would make him miss team practice if he went out and partied.

Regardless, if Harden becomes a Net, he better cut out this partying **** during pandemic restrictions. Rumor is that he already had covid before the bubble, but it's still stupidity.

lol this is going to get ugly but the Rockets owner is being too stubborn. Oh well, we'll see his value go down. it's sad because Rockets should at least give him what he wants after all that he's done for that franchise

At this point I'm over it. Harden is trying to sabotage his way out of Houston. They won't give him what he wants.

Time to move on and focus on the team we have as is.

Their new owner is literally the worst. All ego and no brains. Nobody would want to come to his franchise from now on. Harden is getting traded before the deadline surely but in the meantime he will give them cancer behavior lol. They deserve it.

What a loser.
Forcing his way out and risking the safety of those around him while he does.

Do not want.

Yeah, if he wants out, this is not the way to do it. Real dumb and immature move.

This isn't cute. It says to me that James Harden has a lot of maturing to do. I don't care that he wants to force his way out of Houston, but this is reckless behavior. No masks on anywhere. He and everyone else in these pictures are disgusting human beings.

The NBA's guidance on Covid 19 is legit. Fines, suspensions, forfeits, loss of draft picks. Adam Silver is not playing, his policy is **** around and fine out. I'm not in the mood for the Nets to burn assets for a guy that does **** like this.

I'm fine with what we have now on the roster.
