Smart idea only scheduling the first half of the season and allowing for possible make up games in the second half.

time to punish these boys. I've been waiting for this.
Not gonna lie though, the first half of that schedule is meh. I feel like the NBA tries to ram Zion down everyone's throats...I have yet to see a Pelicans game that was remotely fun to watch and Zion is always getting time managed. Boring.
and The Warriors honestly aren't even a playoff team right now IMO. I would have rather seen Bucks vs. Sixers
Nets/Celtics and LAL/DAL is where all of the star power is at.

Disagree, the Knicks roster as currently constructed is probably worse this year than they were last year. Not what you want on Christmas day. Nets vs. Celtics will be pretty competitive and engaging.
Make no mistake. This game would have been even higher stakes if Boston's fans were allowed to attend. I think the lack of fans gives us even a bigger advantage + the fact that we have the better overall roster. Kemba is out too

For division games at least, I don't get why they bother using arenas that can't have fans. The NBA could easily do a mini bubble with the Atlantic Division, and not force traveling between arenas at all.

I like the Christmas day matchups. All look like good games .
Doesn't look like they were going after rivalries. Just stars + great teams.

So, there is some serious speculation that Warriors/Nets will be the opening night game on the 22nd.

The Knicks' starting 5 will most likely be Robinson, Randle, Bullock, Barrett, and Payton. No one wants to see that on Christmas Day

There are already positive cases starting to pop up. I think the NBA should have come up with a regional bubble plan, right now it's looking like they are approaching this like MLB and NFL, who both honestly have handled covid 19 poorly, especially the NFL.
I understand keeping the players in Disney world for 70 games is not feasible, but they should have found a way to continue doing what was working in some manner. All it takes is one positive test in season to derail an entire team (or teams if the infected player is contagious while playing in a game), this isn't football or MLB where you have a ton of players on your roster.

its a huge hit... but they have the tools to guard KD as well as anyone and you know draymond will be hungry for it.
If curry is on him and 4 YMCA guys could beat the '92 dream team.
i get what you mean but they still are dangerous
Kyrie does seem to have currys number offensively though. steph cant guard him

it's kind of like baseball. I think the NBA should adopt it full time tbh, cut down on travel and give players more rest.
