Another PG/SG scoring guard with potential to explode as a player here. Tyler Johnson 2.0.

I would assume it's a 2-way, and unless a trade is imminent it probably spells the end in Brooklyn for Chiozza. Elie is a physically gifted combo guard, it'll be interesting to see if we can make another back end rotation guy out of him in a year or so, a la TLC.

Most likely a camp body

Man we got a bunch of guards . But this might be one of those under the rock hidden gems that Sean Marks finds. The guy is still young and has an NBA body. I like Cheeze alot but he's too small and his game is limited.

Marks is loading up on guards...if a trade is coming, get it over with before the season starts PLEASE. we don't need guys on the roster who know that they are just trade fodder. get it done.

He definitely looks like a left handed Dinwiddie. From his body movements to his penetration and all, very similar.

Most likely Chiozza's replacement more than anything. He could also just be a training camp invite for now.

L.I Nets will go for a chip . TJ, Nic and this guy will do damage. In all seriousness not a back up for a chip team, guy got cut from a lottery team just like TJ. I like TLC more.

Love the way Marks backfills the pipeline to find "the next ______".

Year 1 they found diamonds in the rough with Dinwiddie/Harris and pursued TJ/Crabbe, all early in their careers via FA/RFA.

Now it's Shamet, Brown, Chiozza, and Okobo - hopefully finding someone who can step up when necessary over the next 1-3 years into a larger role. While also hedging with a vet like TJ just in case.

That is the Spurs model we were all hoping for.
