Not excited for this one at all, not gonna lie. That Spencer news killed my mood for basketball.

KD will sit according to Shams. So Kyrie will probably play, hope he doesn't play huge mins.

Going to need to bench to step up this game. The Grizzlies are hungry for a win, just like the Hornets last night.

With the Dinwiddie injury and KD sitting out tonight, I feel like we should start Shamet and Prince in their places in an effort to get them out of their shooting slumps. With Kyrie & Joe Harris, Shamet and Prince could have a lot of wide open shooting opportunities. Meth Curry & TLC can be moved into the bench unit, which should help Levert more as he could use a secondary ball handler in Meth Curry, opposed to Shamet.

No KD and no Dinwiddie. This sucks.

Losing this game would be a disaster considering this is the easy part of the schedule and already lost to Charlotte.

It's game 4, it really doesn't matter, but eventually, maybe Nash will play Kyrie and KD on back to backs, but on minutes restrictions or something, like a max of 20-25 mpg.

Id go with the 2nd lineup. Off the bench - Brown, Shamet, Rodi, Green, JA.

I'm sure we'll see TJ in one of those spots though.

Ok this where I call it what it is... I understand rest for back to backs however... if that was the plan from the start, why not split both Kyrie and KD to alternate rest nights/games? Why in hell do you sit both at the same time when healthy? That to me strikes off like we have two teams, there’s the BKN Nets and there team KD n KI... gives off a wrong message to me...

Hope they fix that going forward along with rotation changes(avoiding subbing both on n off at the same time, are they married by the hip?)

I mean we won bubble games without them, Caris stepped up big time, and we didn't have some of the other players we have now.

Not saying we'll win, it's unlikely, but this team can be scrappy when necessary and grind out wins with what we have. We've done it before, and I think we can do it again. Just need to be hot from 3 and give 100%.

No excuses, we believe ourselves to be a championship caliber team, so tonight is an excellent test of our mettle. It will also test our coach-em-up quotient; I'm looking forward to Steve's impact on this game.

I'm glad we're resting the big guns tonight, even if it means another demoralizing loss. Memphis is also down several of their key contributors, so again we have no excuses.

Next man up will need to be our MVP. The training wheels are off, this very talented supporting cast is getting baptized in the fire tonight. Shake off everything good and bad from yesterday, lace em up and let's go!



My heart goes out to Dinwiddie. Of course he'd have been huge in a game like this where we rest K&K. Beyond that, I just wish he'd have gotten longer to spend on the sunshine if this season, and received all of his overdue accolades. Let this be a rallying cry to the rest of the team. Win one for the Gipper, go Brooklyn!

Our depth is going to be put to the test....Can't look back. Guys need to step up. The loss of Spencer is a deep cut, I am still optimist this team will not disappoint us.
