Good to have Ian back calling the game

It looks like it’s going to a while for Caris to get locked in. Probably another 5 or 10 games.

I need one of those classic edition Jerseys

Kyrie clearly bumped on the baseline drive, but whatever.

Is Jordan going to pick up a man or is he going to wait for the refs to call defensive 3 secs?

Irving gets hit on a lot of drives i notice with no whistles. He should start flopping

Omg, just paid attention to the score... are we breaking 80 pts each? By half!

We need to get Ky going. Set some screens for him up top.

We need to stop switching every time down the floor on some of these possessions. It’s leading to open threes for them.

I don’t know if it’s just a Nets personnel thing but I feel like I haven’t seen our bigs actually prioritize boxing out in years.

It’s mystifying...it’s basketball 101.

Who was the last Net big that boxed out consistently? Twin?

Brook Lopez. Sealed out opposing bigs like clockwork. It's no secret why PFs who play with him pull down huge rebounding totals

Ugh, I remember at times it was to a fault with how unselfish he was at times boxing out instead of going after rebounds.

Does Kyrie have anything in his legs? He’s settled so much for pulling up... didn’t the game rest n off day helped him?

All 3 of KD, Kyrie, Levert have been awful so far. Very lucky to be only down 1.

Kyrie is having an awful shooting game. Caris isn't much better, KD has been ok but it's a close game. If KD/KAI/LeVErt get hot in the 2nd half, Nets can easily turn this into a 10+pt lead/win.

Thankfully the bench mob has stepped up, especially with Shamet and Prince playing well.

Yup, and KD was just knocked to the ground.

Are these things not obvious or are the refs just not looking at what’s going on with Nets players near the ball?

We really need a defensive wing or 2.

I don’t think it’s that easy. I’ve seen our guys look at a bit confused after a number of Hawks makes. It looks like they haven’t figured out how to guard them yet. And while we’ve certainly left them open for some 3s, they’ve made a number of contested 3s.

Similar to the regular season game against BOS, I expect us to make some adjustments at halftime.

His legs look fine to me. He just seems to be missing. Could just be an off-night, although I hope it was just a cold half.

I disagree with Isola’s analysis. Kyrie has missed a number of shots he normally makes. Very little of it has to do with his shot being affected by longer defenders.
