BTW, I'm sure there are more recent pop culture references, but the classic film Players Club is where my mind went when I thought about the first conversation between Nash and Mike James:
"When can I start?"
"IMMEJIATELY!"
For a more comprehensive reference, enjoy the inimitable Bernie Mac (RIP):

They want us to be Lakers or duh nix of the world. Nah we are next San An that no one really pay attention to
Check my posts from years past. I said that Sean Marks might’ve been that guy who did all the scouting thing. This man running NY team is more than scary, he got CCP cash to back it up

Nice! Whether Spencer stays or goes, we need a developmental PG. Isaiah was the 2nd rounder that Sean Marks demanded Atlanta include in the Prince trade, we've been monitoring his growth for awhile.

Great News! He’s been a stash pick we landed from the ATL deal for the max cap space and he’s got really solid upside.
I’m pretty sure Sean Marks will bring him over here this summer.

I think we have room for one more. I think we should let go of Cheeze, he's out for the year . Mike James probably fills in LMA spot. I think we can use another wing.

Mikes James is supposed to return to Moscow at the end of the season, we'll see.
