After 17 Games....

The Lebron/Wade/Bosh heat were.... 8-9.

That is:
-with all 3 healthy, in their prime
-0 coming off injury
-A full training camp together
-A full preseason together
-playing all 17 games together

The Kyrie/KD/Harden nets are.... 9-8

That is:
-with 2 coming off injury
-Durant ocming off the worst injury you can have and 500+ day layoff
-COVID, a global pandemic, a weird bubble season, terror attack on the capital...
-No fans
-No training camp
-2 game preseason
-1 of 17 games with the big3 together

a little perspective. it wont happen overnight, but this team will be great, as constructed. and better with some minor signings for fit help.

The Miami big 3 were all good defenders though, with much higher impact than this big 3. Offensively, they didn’t fit well right away, but they got after it defensively.

17 games isn’t exactly a small sample size, although yes, there have been constantly shuffling lineups and we have only had 1 game with all of the big 3 playing together.

Actually the big three aren’t 9-8. With harden they are 2-2.

Once this team gets their chemistry down and they figure everything out it’s going to be scary hours indeed. Until then we have to live through the growing pains.

our talent is so close to the miami big 3, we just need more time to gel and work through chemistry issues and define roles. its been flashes of greatness
