GT: Heat @ Nets, 1/23/21, 8pm EST

I feel that spirits are low, and tensions are high among fans on this board. The last two games were frustrating to watch, but...:

-- we're still above .500, after all the turmoil we've endured this far,
-- we're the talk of the league, and the biggest TV draw,
-- we have 3 All-NBA players, who are unselfishly committed to figuring out the fit

Longterm, we're in great shape. Tonight, we have our hands full. Miami don't have the sheer size that Cleveland boasted, but they're smarter and more determined on the glass. We'll need all hands on deck. They are also very disciplined in their offensive sets, so we will need multiple efforts and constant communication on D.

I'm cheering for you, Brooklyn!
Some people really have a way with words. Other people... not... have... way.

I agree obviously I always want us to win but it would be great to get a good win tonight to boost confidence and ease fans worries.

I think it’s time to unleash Harden. The original plan to have him pass the ball early in the clock shot particularly to defer to Kyrie as the first option scorer is not working. Kyrie is going to have to become a cutter or scorer on the outside when Harden collapses a defense. That only will happen if you unleash him and he starts getting in rhythm.

Why do we get so bad with turnovers? We do like a sequence of consecutive turnovers.

Those 3 stupid turnovers in a row aside, the offense is crisp. Joe hasn't looked this good all week.

Awful officiating, Kyrie got blatantly fouled.

I don't like Nash doing that weird substitution, that just throws guys' rhythm off. The 2nd unit was playing well with Harden.

Can't complain too much about this first quarter. Good job gang rebounding, concerted effort to get Harris going. Still a bit worried about the TOs.

The turnovers aside i thought he's been alright.

I just wish he would look for his shot more.

Great start. Very few defensive breakdowns that quarter. That's way more important than anything.

The offense is gonna come.

Hope Nash gets the minutes in order tonight.
