We have the facts. levert is an inefficient chucker who was SIGNIFICANTLY worse the harden with Kyrie/KD before the trade. harden has been light years better then levert since being traded here.

stop with this complete nonsense.

Cool and we need more from Harden than 12 points 7 rebounds and 11 assists which is what LeVert is physically capable of giving us. We can go around in circles with this all day man...

LeVert is not close to leading the NBA in assists or triple doubles.

I get what you mean though, he just needs to find his footing here after awhile. The fact, he doesn’t need to score to impact the game is a pleasure to watch.

Harden simply isn't looking to score on offense though.

We desperately needed all those points from Kyrie to win that game.

Harden can be more of a facilitator but he needs to be super aggressive during the bench minutes. And still be a potent threat when Kyrie/KD are on the floor.

Right now hes not even trying to score.

If Harden comes in from day one and hogs the ball for 40-50 points every game chances are we never see Kyrie in a Nets uniform again.

As the team gels Harden should take more shots but with so few core players everyone should feel like they are included.

Harden helping everyone else look good is a really great way to introduce him to the team.

Right now KD, Joe Harris, and even Jeff Green are hitting their threes like a well oiled machine.

Kyrie could focus on defense and still pitch in 12-24 points per game.

Why is there no in between?

He doesn't need to score 40 or 50. Why not 20?

Why is he so passive that he refuses to shoot even with the bench units. Makes no sense.

Stop making excuses, hes been bad.

You want 20? He's averaging 23.6 points for the Nets. It just shows you how much potential this big 3 could be. It's just 5 games and he's still trying to fit in yet he has scored 20 points a game which is what you ask for but not realize he is doing that.

So Kyrie and Bam can be inches apart breathing, sweating, coughing, yelling, spitting, pushing, shoving, and grabbing each other for 40 minutes.... but swapping jerseys after the game is unsafe?

NBA needs to cut the crap. either be real about safety or dont. these fugazy shows of "safety" fool no one

There were those contactless shooting fouls called on Green and Ky for not social distancing from Bam and Robinson. So not totally inconsistent.

its not hyperbole. like hardens 4 games with the nets are better then Leverts bubble stats (best ball of leverts career)

No. LeVert’s Blazers game is better than what Harden did against the Heat.

You do realize Caris probably could’ve ended up in a hospital and out for the season?

Harden has been here for less than a 3 weeks span on one practice and still helped us beat Orland and Milwaukee putting up historic numbers without Kyrie and no practice. Caris can’t even do that. Love him, though.

He has no desire to shoot 20 times and what’s wrong with that? Let Harden feed Kyrie so he can make the media and fans STFU. We can score effectively regardless. Harden should be more aggressive when he’s on the floor by himself, though but that comes with a feel for the game too.

LeVert's life was literally saved by the trade. Like literally.

So in the end, the Nets got James Harden and a long time player who is beloved by Nets fans ended up having a mass in his kidney detected early, which is life saving.

Harden could average 12ppg for the next 2 years and I will still be glad that the trade went down.

Who says anything about leading the league in assists? We need him to score and make plays especially when he’s with the 2nd unit. Don’t be so passive.

He is averaging 24 ppg as a net. which is 6 points more then leverts career high. and he is doing it on less shot attempts the levert did/much more efficiently then levert did.

and we need him to get assists and run things too, not just score.

I'm talking specifically about the last 3 games.

He was fine the first two. Last game he had 16.

He is the only guy on the Nets with any ability to play the pick and roll and pop as a facilitator outside Dinwiddie who obviously is injured.

We need him to be aggressive when the other stars are off the court. 12 points isn’t going to cut it. I’m not knocking him for his playmaking and rebounding. But we also need his scoring especially when people like TLC and Perry are out there with him.

Nash, MDA, KD, or Kyrie just need to have a simple conversation with James and tell him that he's looking at things wrong or backwards. He is trying to ease his way in without stepping on the big 2's toes. He's only thinking about the big 2 and not trying to take away from them when the reality is that he was not a FA.

That's what James doesn't get. He thinks that he's been inserted into a team with 2 stars who can average 30 when the reality is that he was traded for. It's not really about KD and Kyrie. They need to tell him that he's replacing Levert, Allen, Prince, and basically Dinwiddie. He needs to come close to replacing that production.

Those guys were there and James doesn't get that. All 3 guys can easily average 27 and probably even 30 without stepping on toes. People talk about all of the depth you loss but it's a good thing in this case because there is only one ball. No one really needs to sacrifice since you have lost 4 significant players. He's not taking away shots from KD and Kyrie. He's replacing the shots taken by the other 4 while KD and Kyrie still can take a couple from those 4 also and everyone will be happy

Harden has been a lit too passive on offense I agree but it's early and he's still searching his role on this team.

I think he needs to be himself, James Harden MVP level player that can score in bunches.

We know he can make the correct read to pass the ball when it's a bad shot. He's used to taking all the shots in HOU so now he seems to be OVERCOMPENSATING and all he's looking to do is share and move the rock.

I think with more gametime and repetition, Harden will find his rhythm and niche on this roster.

KD and KY are already playing at MVP level. All great players eventually find a way to make it work. No doubt Harden will get it done.

I think when it's just Harden + bench and KD/KY are resting, he needs to pretend like he's back in HOU and just do his thing.

I'd take 10 harden stepbacks over guys like Perry/TLC takind dumb shots or dumb TOs. Not to mention since he's overpassing it's leading to a lot of unforced TOs.

The beard need to play like the Beard and the chemistry will work itself out.

he just needs to understand when to be aggressive. when kd and kyrie are on the bench, he needs to feast.

he should not like cedi ossman check him and pass to TLC. like ever.
