Last year harden averaged 11.8 FT attempts per game. That capped 6 years in a row with 10+. His Free throw rates was .528

Hardens FT attempts are down 5,2 per game at 6.6 per contest. his FT rate is down to .398.

Despite that, his TS% with the nets is 64.6, which would be the highest since he played for OKC, the second highest of his career, and higher then any season he had in Houston.

Lazy casuals and Harden haters still call him a gimmick foul hunter who manipulates the refs, but he is still legit scoring 25-30 a game on better efficiency then when he was going to the line twice as much while leading the league in assists and helping carry the nets to 9 wins in 10 games without KD.

Haters gonna hate, but harden is playing some of the best ball of his career.

Is it just me or does Harden get fouled at the rim with no calls routinely now? At least 2-3 times a game he gets knocked to the floor, no call.

Yeah I noticed before that Harden had the lowest FT rate of his career as a Net, since his rookie year. Now it's actually the lowest ever FT rate of his career. It's bizarre to me that he's not getting remotely the same calls that he was in Houston, although a large part of it also has been that he has cut down a lot on his foul baiting.

Yeah he pretty much does 0 foul baiting. some fouls he draws intentionally but its more veteran savy then it is whipping his head back, embellishing or ripping his arms through people.

and yea @MDB he seems to get a ton of no calls on fouls sending him to the ground. you would think 3 elite stars, 2 of whom live at the FT line would get finally get us some calls but nope... nets curse

At least 2-3 times a game Harden and Kyrie get hammered at the rim, end up on their backs and they look at the refs exasperated that the foul wasn't called. I get nervous when Kyrie gets laid out so not getting the calls makes it even worse.

He doesn't have to bait anymore, he doesn't even flop at all anymore. He plays point guard most of the game and looks to get his teammates involved alot more than he has done in his career. I could get used to this.

NGL, the one thing I was dreading was watching Harden flop. Its been a pleasant surprise that he's cut down on that significantly. He's just way too talented to have to resort to that.

Since Durant been out his FG is at 20 a game.
Arrival to Durant last game 15.5 FGA a game at a .45% free throw rate.
He’s the same exact player in his scoring diet as he always been.

I feel you. He says it’s the same style. Rocket fans say it’s the same. HE says it the same.
Maybe just maybe you didn’t watch enough Rockets or the bias of him being on your team makes you want to praise a former controversial player?
Still leads in isos. Still hooks when driving. Still goes up when feeling any contact to his arms. He is focused on passing more and the PnR is bac in his game because doubling him here is a death sentence to defenses.

I don't think it's in Nash's nature to explode like that. Even as a player I can't recall him ever getting loud like that with refs.

He is passing more. I just think he has much better pieces to work with and has made a conscious effort to get them involved. There are 6 players shooting over 40% from 3 plus you have Kyrie that is a human magnet. He is actually laughing at times cause he simply never had that. Eric Gordon was the best shooter and his best was like 36%. He also has legitimate lob threats again.
