Don't need to post that garbage here, NBA twitter and sports media going to be unbearable for the next few days over what's ultimately a meaningless game.

It's honestly better now because now all the talking heads are going to go on TV and act like the Lakers are the favorites again.

It was not good to have all the pressure on us and act like we were the prohibitive favorites.

I don't understand how were getting blown out. They are missing half their team.

Just a lack of effort and focus.

150% on nash. worst coached game of the season, by any team in the league. im not sure the charecter limit will allow me to type all the horrific coaching mishaps

1) Drummond is a horrific pick and roll defender. Nash glues all his pick and roll bigs to the bench. Drummonds only defensively ability... 1 on 1 post defense and Nash decided to play LMA big minutes, even with LMA getting eaten alive and doing nothing outside some easy buckets on Drummonds brain farts

2) Claxton was part of a big first half run. Nash glues him to the bench after that.

3) With Kyrie/Durant out, the one time LMA might be useful vs lakers small backup centers, Nash has LMA on the bench

4) Schroder killing us on isolation mismatches on switches. 0 blitz/double to make shroeder give up the ball. schroder kept killing us on it. nash 0 adjustment

5) Kyrie picks up a technical. Kyrie and Schroeder still going at it. Nash nowhere to be found. every coach on every level in this history of the sport is between his star and the official and taking a tech if needed so his star doesnt getting ejected. but nash would never do that

6) lakers getting all the calls. nash doesnt say a word to the refs, as usuall

7) Lakers several huge runs with 0 timeout by nash to try and disrupt it.

8) lakers hitting tons of threes. 0 adjustments. Outside shroeder not a single laker can put it on the floor. no emphasis on running it off the line and daring them to be drivers

9) No zone. no D adjustments at all. no pikcing up full court to force them into a shorter clock. no blitzing pick and rolls. no forcing drummond to be a scorer where he constantly takes terrible shots and turns it over

10) Harris not getting any threes. nothing to free him up.

11) Aldridge 0 3PT attempts. what is the point of a stretch big if your not going to have him shoot threes?

its effing pathetic. Vogul drastically outcoached him. there is simply no way we can win a title with Nash coaching this team. even with all 3 of the bgi 3. in a 7 games series vs. another team with multiple stars and a coach who will urn cicrcle around nash its just not going to happen

Tsai needs to step in. force marks hand. if marks refuses to fire nash, marks has to go too

Lakers +25 after kyrie went down. Nash couldnt coach the nets to even close to the lakers once the talent was equaled out. thats not on kyrie, other then it exposes nash even further. Nash cant win unless multiple mega superstars play amazing to overcome how awful he is

Games like this shows why harden is the mvp and the best playmaker in the nba. Offense looks lost without him. The game against the worst defensive team in the league pelicans wasn’t a indicator. No one sets up an offense like he does

We had 59 first half points prior to Kyries ejection. prior to harden trade we were scoring 117 points per 100 possesisons. this team is elite offensively with or without harden

I think we probably win if Kyrie doesn't get ejected.

When we lose both Kyrie and Harden we have no one to run the offense leading to a tun of turnovers.

Still, no excuse for losing this badly.

It's hard to act like its the end of the world when we don't have either Kyrie or Harden and the Lakers are shooting like 60% from 3.

Weve had like 10 of "these losses" were awful teams short handed beat us in embarassing fashion

If LMA is going to play 30 mpg at center then he isnt wrong. There is no excuse for Claxton to play so little. LMA has not been very good to where DJ should have been yanked this way. If LMA isnt going to be hitting threes and spacing the floor then claxton or DJ need to play more

Not sure what game you were watching but majority of those points were off broken plays or Kyrie iso ball. There was zero rhythm from tip off

Clearly a badly coached game from Nash but you never give any credit when we win so hard to take your critiques seriously.

LMA made clear his limitations today. We have to learn from it and move on.

The 76ers play tonight and up big against the lowly OKC Thunder, they will take the #1 seed after tonight. Its over, we should prepare for next off-season, hopefully this year will help Nash and the coaching staff learn about playoffs, they have quite a lot to figure out before we make a push for next year's title run.

Yeah and that will give them a tie with us and we can easily get it back when we play them.

The idea you think its over based on one game without Harden, Kyrie ejected and KD on a minutes restriction is a joke.

We are still the best team in the league.

One bad game literally proves nothing to me. I wouldn't panic if we lost the next 5.

This game would absolutely still be a blowout loss with DJ playing. Aside from Kyrie, not a single Nets player played well tonight. KD was absolutely awful, and a constant source of turnovers throughout the game. Once Kyrie got ejected, it was over. I understand that KD's coming back after two months, but it looks like he's learning how to play basketball for the first time. He got credited for 8 turnovers, but there were more turnovers caused by him that weren't attributed to him. It's inexcusable.

That's not to say the loss falls on KD. It was a collective failure tonight. Lakers were far more up for it than we were, so there's no real point throwing most of the blame on Nash or any particular player for tonight. Everyone sucked.

Okay if you wish to remain optimistic, but I just dont see how can beat this Lakers team with their big three, if Drummond alone was enough to beat us by 20pts at home. Fortunately our own big three are still under contract next season, and if Nash can use this year's playoffs as learning experience and improve into an elite coach next year, we will have a good chance in 2022. Lakers will extend Shroder and wont be able to resign Drummond and Harrell, so their depth will be much worse next year. Problem is, KD and Harden will be one year older, while Embiid and Giannis are in their absolute peak.

Kyrie Iso ball is some of the best offense in the league. The nets are elite offensively with or without Harden. we are obviously better with harden. but the idea we are lost without him offensively is comically absurd. not only that, but we are arguably one of the 5 best offenses ever without him

If the finals is Nets vs Lakers. Nets big 3 will just take turns isolating drummond on the switches which will limit his minutes and rebounding advantage. You'll see a lot of that in the playoffs with the top 3 scorers in the game obviously lol. But the defense is an issue, with the roster makeup you guys can't be a lockdown defensive team. But, you can't allow the opposition to just score at will even though that's D'antonis wet dream haha. So getting stops at times and going on scoring runs will demoralize the other team and the game will be over. All that's needed for you guys is for the big 3 to be healthy and get chemistry with one another and you should be fine and lol at Giannis being an issue, just build a wall and he's ineffective.
Plata o Plomo?

Return to Brooklyn Nets
