As for Alize, I believe he had quite a few offers, perhaps even better than ours.

This dude can ball, PERIOD, any fool can see it, which makes me wonder why the Raptors didn't move quickly to call him up from their G-league team and try to get him signed before we (or anyone else) did. I'll bet he's one of the GM's who offered more because he knows he blew it.

Alize really shined in that game against the Jazz. He has also provided good minutes since then.

What I love about Alize is how effective his short and mid range jumper is.

IMO it's a dying art. So many guys, even great 3P shooters, have an adequate mid range jumper at best.

I love Joe Harris, but he's a perfect example.

If he could only work on one thing all summer, I would tell him to work on his mid range J-Shot.

It's becoming a dying art. Everyone wants to bury the 3, but few players work on J's inside the 3.

That's what I love about Bruce Brown, he can hit the 3, but he's terrific closer to the basket too.

Am I triping or is he a better taller version than Bruce Brown?

I’ve been very cautious of my approach and subsequent opinion of Alize.

I’m now coming to the conclusion that he not only represents exactly what you would want from a rotation player for his position, but that on recent performances he seems to be good value.

I take back my comment earlier where I said it was a lot of money for him. The guy can ball and brings the energy. Players like him are needed on a team like this. They need the guys to do the dirty work and bring the energy. He fits in great.
