I'm hoping that we can get KD back at least today. Claxton will still be out, Tyler Johnson is listed as doubtful.

At this point I am just hoping we can get to next month with our roster somewhat intact. this is crazy.

Yeah, this season has been a rollercoaster so far, especially in terms of health and availability. Let's all cross our fingers that we've already had our run of bad fortune, and that we're healthy from here on out.

I wouldn't mind seeing James tonight... Mike James. He should clear protocol today and officially sign for Brooklyn, and I would love him to soak up 6-8 minutes so we can spell Kyrie and Landry a bit more. Speaking of...

Irving is going to have to carry us again, and it shouldn't take 43 minutes of game action from him tonight to seal a win. Shamet has been efficient and confident lately, let's hope he shakes off a poor performance and comes out firing.

If Kevin can play, great. My bigger concern with him is that whenever he comes back, he comes back for good. Meanwhile, we need our overused frontcourt bench to empty the tank once again, until our reinforcements arrive. The Celtics have been rolling lately, but we can win this one. Let's go!

Jalen Brown, Fournier, Robert Williams are all out. They played the suns last night, so Kemba could potentially sit as well. If Kyrie continues to roast them, this is a very winnable game KD or not.

To be honest, id sit KD tonight. if he plays tonight he isnt playing sunday. so may as well give him 2 extra days

The even crazier part about this season is that despite the lack of availability and health concerns surrounding this roster....we are TIED for first place in the East  !! can you imagine if we were healthy for most of the season????

Looks like KD is playing. At some point we have to start playing our starters and get this unit consistent, that time is now. I think Harden will be back in the last week. What Harden is doing is avoiding a potential injury rather than healing from something serious. I also think Dinwiddie is on the table for coming back. He will certainly need time to get up to speed but he is on a mission to return. We can't count that out.

I agree KD needs to play. We can't keep giving him so much time. It will only make him more likely to get reinjured.

Assuming hes healthy lets play Kyrie and KD. Really hoping we can get a win today.

"Brown, Fournier and Williams are all out". I really hope the NBA learned a lesson with the scheduling. A lot of other teams are hurting too.

If KD does not play its going to be close. We are over due for an OT game.

I'm starting to think we can still win the title, even if we only have 2 of the big 3 at 100%.

Say, it was Kyrie and KD and Harden's hamstring keeps him out.
We could still have this 10 man rotation:
(if DInwiddie comes back)

Irving / Dinwiddie
Harris / Shamet
Durant / B.Brown
J.Green / Griffin
D.Jordan / Claxton

Update on the Celtics side:

Kemba - Out
Brown - Out
Williams - Out

Fournier will play.

Would have prefered the original report with Fournier out. Fournier shoots like peak bird vs us while kemba is ... well kemba.

Either way they are just as short handed as we are. if KD plays we should win this one. even if he only gives us 20 minutes

I agree. I think the amount of time the give to small injuries causes more injuries. They ramped him up for weeks. He needs in game conditioning. They’ve been tooooo cautious

You cant do that with hamstrings. they have to be babied. as it is we may have cost Harden the first round bringing him back before he was ready. if he has another setback it could mean his season is done.

The bruise with KD is different, but again, why rush him for a meaningless game?

Hamstrings are different. I don't want Harden back.

But I think KD is fine. Its just a bruise and he needs to get back into game shape.

What’s with the health and safety protocols they keep getting. Come on guys stay away from people.

Anyway. Durant has a bruise and he’s out a week or two. Some what ridiculous if you ask me.

Why would he sit Sunday if he played today?

He's working off of Nash's "very possible" quote, and I think Prok is interpreting it correctly.

Steve said Friday OR Sunday. My point is, if you have to choose, he's not ready. I want him back as soon as hes able to come back and never sit out again. We have 2 back to backs remaining, and I am sure they will rest him then, but a healthy scratch like that is different.

They made the decision based on who is playing. Kemba and Brown are out so now he's not playing?
