Who would you rather play. Celtics, wizards or Heat
Right now the nets would play the winner of the Celtics vs Wizards game. If the nets lose and bucks win they would play the heat.

Easily the Celtics or Wizards. The Heat are a legitimately good team and could pull off the upset.

Wizards are the easiest matchup for us but I doubt they'll win the play in game against the Celtics. Bucks could have a tough first round series against Heat who are better than their record appears. On the other hand, I'm definitely annoyed with the other side of the bracket. Knicks end up 4th which means they get the best possible matchup they could have asked for (Hawks) and there's definitely a chance of them making 2nd round. Sixers get a cakewalk path to the ECF by getting an easy team in 1st round, and then winner of Knicks/Hawks in 2nd round.

Celtics. No Jaylen Brown and they match up terribly against us.
The Wizards have won 2 out of 3 games against us. I'm not interested in playing against Russell Westbrook and Beadley Beal, who cooks us every time he plays us.

THIS ^^^^
.... and it's a no-brainer.
We have their number regardless, but without Jaylen Brown we should sweep them.

Definitely Celtics. For all his weaknesses, WB is a triple double machine and always gives his all on the court. And Beal is no slouch either. I’m confident we can beat them convincingly. But Celtics is definitely an easier opponent.

Beal and Westbrook are a lot scarier to me than Tatum, Smart and Walker. Beal and Westbrook have the dog in them.

Our playoff roster:
Harden/Kyrie/Harris/KD/Griffin
James/Shamet/Brown/Green/Claxton
Chiozza/Johnson/TLC/Alize/Jordan
Perry and Dinwiddie
Dinwiddie is a wild card. i would hope at least he will be allowed to practice when we can get those in. If he's serious, he should already be in Brooklyn because this week is where we are going to get practice time in before the 1st round.

Here’s hoping Celtics can beat Wizards in the pi. Not only do we get an easier opponent, but we also push Beal and WB to the 76ers. Philly already got an easier path to the ECF. Wizards will at least make them sweat some more.

I have a feeling they will play the wizards. Which is the one team I didn’t want them to face. They are hot right now and the match ups aren’t great for the nets. First time I will be rooting for the Celtics to win.

To me the wizards are an easier matchup and it isnt even remotely close. they are an awful team with no defense, an in inefficient chucker running the show who continually stinks it up in the playoffs. they have an awful coach and no depth.
Boston is missing Brown... thats huge. they still have tatum, who is much better then anyone on the wizard and a proven playoff stud. They have Marcus Smart who is a warrior and kemba, fournier (career net killer) and elite coaching.
Wizards are a sweep with a minimum 2 blowout wins.
Boston would take at least 1 game off us on coaching alone, and worse, lay a blueprint for teams to follow.
i still want boston because im out for blood. but the wiz are for sure a much easier path

What dog does beal have in him? a french poodle?
Westbrook may "bring it" and rack up stat padded triple doubles, but he is an inefficient chucker who has proven every year that he sucks at playoff basketball.

Boston/Tatum/Stevens OWN philly. they would have a much better shot
76ers would destroy the wiz in 4

Westbrook put up 31/9/10 against us this season through 3 games. He and Beal both have clobbered us and the season series indicates that.

No Nets fan should "fear" the Wizards but it's no secret that the C's are the preferred matchup. It's always annoying going up against Westbrook. That's not even including how annoying the media would be "hyping up" the series.

We going stomp that trash quick. It's 4 and out there. If we lose one I'd be happy as well. I respect Russ unlike most.
Check out Saltics thread man

. They don't want anything to do with us.

I respect Russ. That team has no business playing vs us. We'll get them out quick, ten plus point lead every game ( blow out throughout ).

It doesnt really matter. Beal's stats are mostly empty and Russ dominates the ball at low efficiency. in the regular season out hustling has some value. in the playoffs you need to make shots. even with both those guys going off here are the 3 games vs them:
3 point loss: We were down 1 with the final possesion. Kyrie missed wide open 3, KD missed open 12 footer. we foul they hit both FTS game over. We had a late lead, fell asleep and our stars missed 2 easy shots.
1 point loss: We were up by 5 with 12 seconds left. they hit a contested three, no timeout for nash, harris passes it to the other team, westbrook 3. then TLC misses a wide open layup at the buzzer. we had that game won. it was a fluke aberation
9 point net win: We had Harden and claxton for this one. they had no chance
We have Harden/Claxton/Blake/Mike james. without those guys they needed weird fluke to beat us with our team not taking them serious.
I'd expect a sweep with 3 10+ wins and at least 2 huge blowouts.
The wizards are a subpar team whose games does not translate to the playoffs. it would be a bloodbath for them. playoff KD is coming too. he was coasting.
